Cezanne Stigmata Guide by Reinbex
Hey, Captains! Today we are going to be taking a look at the Depicter Impression set: Cezanne introduced in v5.8. The Cezanne set is a Physical set released alongside and also tailored for Starry Impression. In this guide, we will review the set’s functionalities and where it excels best at. For the sake of convenience, Cezanne and Starry Impression will be abbreviated/shortened as “Cez” and “SI” respectively in this guide.

Cezanne (T) - [HP: 367; ATK: 116; DEF: 66]
Passively provides 15% Physical DMG and triggering any teammate’s Ultimate will buff the host’s Ultimate by 27% Physical DMG. Buffs are simple and can be triggered even with another teammate.
Cezanne (M) - [HP: 483; DEF: 199; CRT: 8]
Increases host’s inflicted Bleed Trauma by 25%, which can be the important difference between bleeding or not bleeding (5 Trauma = 1 bar). Also increases Bleed DMG by 20% for 10s when enemies take Bleed DMG. In summary, the M piece is designed for bleeding.
Cezanne (B) - [HP: 362; ATK: 64; DEF: 66; CRT: 16]
Landing a Combo ATK induces Structure Outline (36% TDM Intake Debuff) for 6s and all team members get one “1.5s extension upon switching in” enhancement. Therefore, host should land Combo ATK before switching to her two other teammates for max 9s Structure Outline.
Set Bonuses
First part of the 2-pc skill revolves around inflicting massive Physical Bleed DMG after 10 stacks for inflicting Bleeding DMG. This synergizes well with SI’s Ultimate that bleeds multiple times.
Stacks Counter
The 2nd part of the 2-pc effect is only for SI with the B-pc. SI casting Ultimate will also inflict Structure Outline and enhance the team with a “1.5s extension upon switch in”. In addition to the extra method, the 36% Total DMG intake-debuff effectively gets an additional 12s extension, making it possible to stretch this debuff for up to 21s!
The 3-pc effect provides 35% ATK Speed and up to 10% Total DMG based on Bleed Stacks. Because only SI can currently easily help apply 5 stacks of Bleed, this 3-pc effect might as well be only for SI.
✦ Stigmatas Comparison ✦
Cezanne is the newest Physical Support stig-set on the block. It will be compared against similar sets, including ones that provide long-lasting buffs and/or Bleed-related buffs. Margrave was added in consideration to the set being craftable and SI’s ultimate can fulfill the 60 SP cost requirements of certain Margrave buffs.
(*Special note: Beethoven M wasn't covered as opposed to Paganini M to showcase the similar results both "15% buff" that both stigs provide but with Paga M being more flexible*)
Team Composition(s)
Because Cez (at full set) can only be fully utilized by SI, SI will be its primary tester. Several combinations, as well as substitutions and replacements will determine how well Cez performs in the hands of SI.
Test Results
From testing, it’s clear that Cezanne TMB is the best set for SI. Cezanne full set outperformed all other sets while Cezanne TB with Paganini M followed closely with a difference of 2.21%. Holmes of any combination performed roughly 80% compared to Cezanne.
EDIT: It has come to my attention however, that the test results may vary a bit due to crits. Meaning, in a more likely scenario, a team with [Cez TB + Paga M] would experience a higher DMG performance.

Starry Impression (SI)
SI is the one who can utilize Cezanne the best. As a Bleed-based Physical Support, she synergizes well with the effects that Cezanne has to offer, buffing her ult and bleeding DMG while also providing team support. For Si, she simply needs to QTE onto the field, cast Ult, and switch out.

✦ Closing Thoughts ✦
The Depicter Impression set: Cezanne at first glance does not provide too many support buffs. The T-pc and 3-pc effects provide Physical DMG, Total DMG, and ATK Speed buffs while the M-pc provides Bleed Trauma and Bleed DMG. However, the B-pc (and by extension 2-pc) makes up for the set’s lack of support by providing up to 36% Total DMG Vulnerability for up to 21s. The only takeback from this is that Cez B requires Combo ATK while the 2-pc effect requires SI to cast her Ultimate. In conclusion, if you want a powerful support stigmata, I highly recommend obtaining Cezanne (order of priority: B > T >> M)!
