Disclaimer - Kamisato Ayaka has only recently been released, therefore this guide will be adapted in the near future to include more accurate content as more information becomes readily available.
This will largely determine her recommended artifacts and weapons.

Ayaka's Role
On a purely subjective level, Ayaka is best suited to be used as a main DPS. The reason for this is because of the way her Skill, Burst, Alternate Sprint and Ascension Passives are designed, allowing
her to adopt a more on-field and dominant role within a team.

Appreciating Ayaka's Offensive Abilities
Normal Attack - Ayaka's Normal Attack: Kamisato Art - Kabuki, involves Ayaka attacking 5 times in quick succession. Her Charged Attack consumes Stamina to release a burst of airborne slashes,
while her Plunging Attack deals AoE DMG upon impact with a surface.

Skill - Kamisato Art: Hyouka, Ayaka's Skill, sends nearby enemies hurling
upwards while simultaneously dealing AoE Cryo DMG.

Burst - Kamisato Art: Soumetsu, Ayaka's Burst, sends forth a volatile snowstorm that continuously deals Cryo DMG, culminating in an explosion of AoE Cryo DMG at the end of its duration.

Alternate Sprint - Kamisato Art: Senho, Ayaka's Alternate Sprint, allows her to swiftly move in the form of frozen fog. After emerging from her sprint, she applies Cryo to nearby enemies and
briefly infuses her weapon with Cryo.

First Ascension Passive - Ayaka's First Ascension Passive helps improve her effectiveness as a
sustained DPS by increasing the DMG of her normal and charged attacks by 30% for
6 seconds after casting Kamisato Art: Hyouka, her Skill.
Fourth Ascension Passive - Ayaka's Fourth Ascension Passive further improves upon Ayaka's potential as a sustained DPS. If Ayaka successfully applies Cryo to an enemy upon emerging from her Alternate Sprint, Kamisato Art: Senho, she is provided with 10 Stamina and an 18% Cryo DMG bonus for 10 seconds.

Choosing Artifacts + Weapons
Hopefully, Ayaka's role as a sustained DPS has been made evident by her kit. Just like any other DPS, it would be ideal for Ayaka to have at least 1,800 ATK, but her ideal Crit Rate and Crit DMG amounts (as well as weapons) vary depending on the artifact sets equipped on her. Currently, she most optimally fulfils her role as a DPS by equipping 4 pieces of the artifact set Blizzard Strayer in a freeze composition. An Ayaka with 4-piece Blizzard Strayer should be treated differently than any other artifact combination due to how much Crit Rate the 4-piece Bonus of Blizzard Strayer provides in specific situations. Part 1 of this section explores a build with 4-piece Blizzard Strayer, while Part 2 examines builds that exclude 4-piece Blizzard Strayer.
Part 1: 4-piece Blizzard Strayer
An Ayaka with 4-piece Blizzard Strayer does not require a high supply of Crit Rate, whether as a part of her artifact Main/Sub Stats or weapon Secondary Stat. This is because the 4-piece Bonus of Blizzard Strayer grants its user 40% Crit Rate if fully utilised, and when paired with Cryo Resonance thanks to the presence of another Cryo party member, a Crit Rate of at least 55% is already guaranteed. Hence the following Main Stats are desirable for Ayaka's artifacts:
1. Sands of Eon with ATK% as its Main Stat
2. Icon Goblet of Eonothem with Cryo DMG Bonus as its Main Stat
3. Circlet of Logos with Crit DMG or ATK% as its Main Stat
For the Flower of Life and Plume of Death artifacts, as well as the other 3, the following Sub Stats would be ideal to have and upgrade (by chance) from most to least preferred (if not already acting as the artifact's Main Stat): Crit DMG, ATK%, Energy Recharge and Crit Rate to maximise Ayaka's DPS potential.
Optimally, weapons that share the Secondary Stat Type ATK% or have a really high Base ATK, such as Aquila Favonia, are preferred to be used with Ayaka in order to maximise the damage
output of her Normal Attacks, Skill and Burst.
Part 2: Excluding 4-piece Blizzard Strayer
An Akaya without 4-piece Blizzard Strayer deprives her of a significant amount of Crit Rate, hence requiring Crit Rate to be supplied through artifact Main/Sub Stats. This issue can be slightly relieved if Ayaka can make use of Cryo Resonance with another Cryo party member. Travelers should try to aim for at least 50% Crit Rate, with a Crit DMG of approximately double the Crit Rate (in a 1:2 CR:CD ratio). If they can acquire more Crit DMG without sacrificing Crit Rate, they may do so. The following Main Stats are desirable for Ayaka's artifacts:
1. Sands of Eon with ATK% as its Main Stat
2. Icon Goblet of Eonothem with Cryo DMG Bonus as its Main Stat
3. Circlet of Logos with Crit DMG or Crit Rate as its Main Stat
For the Flower of Life and Plume of Death artifacts, as well as the other 3, the following Sub Stats would be ideal to have and upgrade (by chance) from most to least preferred (if not already acting as the artifact's Main Stat): Crit DMG/Rate, ATK% and Energy Recharge to maximise Ayaka's DPS potential.
Optimally, weapons that share the Secondary Stat Type ATK%, have a really high Base ATK, such as Aquila Favonia, or have Crit Rate (only with Primordial Jade Cutter) are preferred to be used with Ayaka in order to maximise the damage output of her Normal Attacks, Skill and Burst.
