[Version 2.0] NEW ENEMIES AND BOSSES! INCLUDING TIPS FOR TREASURE HUNTING! #gameguides

With Inazuma finally here, the marvellous 2.0 update in Genshin Impact brings a whole lot of new content. New enemies, bosses, domains and even new treasure chests await you in the splendid realm of the Nation of Eternity. In this guide, we will be looking into the new enemies, bosses, domains and even tips for treasure hunting during your time in Inazuma. Make sure you take this guide with you before you set sail for the Japan-themed region!

Sector 1: New enemies!

With much beauty brings much danger. There are several types of enemies which observe every corner of Inazuma and slay any who displeases them. Here is a list of the new enemies in Inazuma and how to defeat them!

Nobu***

*hese muscular men who have turned against their occupation as a samurai and instead has joined as a bandit can be seen roaming throughout Inazuma. What makes these enemies not simple to defeat is their high defence and health. It is not recommended to use Crowd-Control characters as they stand firm on their ground and are not attracted to skills such as Venti's Elemental Burst (Wind's Grand Ode) and Kazuha's Elemental Skill (Chihayaburu). Instead, use brute force to defeat these enemies. Strong damage dealers such as Hu Tao (Pyro), Ganyu (Cryo) or Xiao (Anemo) are perfect for defeating these enemies.

Kairagi

Kairagi are wandering samurais who can use long-lost art to imbue their blade with elemental power. So far, there are two types of Kairagi:

- Kairagi: Fiery Might

- Kairagi: Dancing Thunder

Kairagi have even higher defence and health than Nobushi and are even more difficult to defeat. Tactics to defeat these enemies depend of which variant you are facing. If you are facing:

Kairagi: Fiery Might, you might want to use opposite elements such as Hydro or Cryo.

Kairagi: Dancing Thunder, you might want to use opposite element such as Hydro or Pyro.

Of course, it is possible to beat both variants with the same element, for example a Kairagi: Fiery Might with Pyro. Also, you can get the achievement 'Fight Fire with Fire' by defeating a Kairagi: Fiery Might by defeating it while its blade is infused with Pyro.

Mirror Maiden

The Mirror Maiden is the beauty of the Fatui. It tricks enemies into her beauty and her victims end up being slaughtered by her vicious attacks. Mirror Maiden has high defence and health. Her attacks deal great amounts Hydro Damage. Although she is not completely immune to Hydro, Hydro does little damage on her. Instead, use Electro or Pyro element to defeat the Mirror Maiden. During the fight, it is greatly suggested to bring along a shield unit in your team that can prevent you from taking great amounts of damage (For example, Noelle or Zhongli.) You might want to also bring along to unit which can launch you into the air, such as Venti's Elemental Skill (Skyward Sonnet) that creates an updraft, Kazuha's Elemental Skill (Chihayabaru) that launches you into the air or Keqing's Elemental Skill (Stellar Restoration) that allows you to teleport up to high locations. These are useful when the Mirror Maiden attempts to trap you and attack you.

Sector 2: New bosses!

In addition to new enemies, there are also new bosses. These bosses are as deadly as ever.

Pyro Hypostasis

In addition to the new enemies mentioned above, a new member to the Hypostasis Team has appeared! This time, other than the Electro and Anemo Hypostasis, there is also a Pyro Hypostasis! Difficulty has spiked and the Pyro Hypostasis seems to be a new difficult boss!

The Pyro Hypostasis has various deadly attacks and can deal a ton of damage without shielding or healing. Follow these tactics to avoid loosing health!

Strategy A

Use Hydro characters such as Xingqiu or Barbara to extinguish the Pyro Hypostasis's Ignited Form. Use a shielder such as Diona, Zhongli or Noelle. Then, bring along a DPS such as Ganyu or Childe that can defeat it easily using reactions such as Melt or Vaporise.

Strategy B

Use Cryo characters such as Ayaka or Rosaria to extinguish the Pyro Hypostasis's Ignited Form. Use a healer such as Qiqi, Diona or Barbara. Then, bring along a DPS such as Xiao or Razor that can defeat it easily using reactions such as Swirl or just pure Physical Damage.

In-depth strategy

1. Switch to your healer or shielder and activate their healing and shielding respectively.

2. Switch to your extinguisher (Either a Cryo or Hydro character than can apply the elements mentioned easily) and attempt to extinguish the Pyro Hypostasis's Ignited State.

3. Once the Ignited State is removed from the boss opponent, switch to your DPS (Any character that can deal reliable damage except for Pyro Characters) and wait for the Pyro Hypostasis to reveal it's core.

4. Attack the core with your main DPS, dealing damage and draining the boss's health bar.

5. If the Pyro Hypostasis starts regenerating it's shield from 3 strange Pryo Crystals, extinguish them immediately with your extinguisher. If you fail to do so, the Pyro Hypostasis may regain its Ignited State.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 until the Pyro Hypostasis is defeated.

Note: Diona would be a very good character to defeat the Pyro Hypostasis due to her flexibility of being both an extinguisher and a healer.

Maguu Kenki

The boss that apparently originated from the Golden Apple Archipelago which was exclusive to Version 1.6 has now been brought to its new home, North of Jakotsu Mine. This enemy has different tactics in defeating its enemy. It can also dodge very well. Here are a few things to keep in mind when farming this deadly boss:

Don't get tricked! Sometimes, the Maguu Kenki will spawn puppets to attack you. You can identify these puppets by monitoring if it has a specific colour, such as blue. If it is, quickly dodge the puppet and continue attacking the main boss.

Don't use a bow user to defeat the Maguu Kenki! Ranged attacks will trigger the Maguu Kenki to perform it's mask parry. This attack can deal massive damage and will likely wipe out your character if you do not dodge it.

Don't go all out! The Maguu Kenki is extremely agile and can move from one corner of its arena to another. Going all out by using Elemental Bursts all at once might go to waste.

Do not go all out at the start! This tip aligns with the tip mentioned right above this line. The Maguu Kenki will be invulnerable to any attacks if you go all out when the boss is arising. Using Elemental Skills may still generate Elemental Particles, but not deal damage. The same rule applies for Elemental Bursts which can generate energy over time such as Venti's (Wind's Grand Ode).

Sector 3: Tips for Treasure Hunting!

While exploring Inazuma, you might find various mechanisms that may lead to treasure. Here are a few new features in Inazuma that will lead to incredible findings!

Electro Seelie

Electro Seelies are much faster than usual Seelies. When you get near to them, they'll zap towards another location in lightning speed. You'll have to keep an eye on it. Once you follow it enough, it will lead you to a treasure chest. You can know if you've claimed a chest from an Electro Seelie if the Electro Seelie looks like the one in the picture below.

Thunder Sakura Bough

When interacting with this strange plant, it will grant you one Electrograna. This can be used to pass through Thunder Barriers or glide up Thunder Spheres. Thunder Barriers are circular shaped spaces that have treasure or ores hidden in them. You will need at least one Electrograna to pass through it. A picture below shows an image of different types of Thunder Barriers.

Thunder Spheres, on the other hand, are strange items in the air that allow you to zap up to them if you have a Electrogranum in your possession. These are very helpful to reach high places or to get an overview of the area you are exploring. Below is an image of a Thunder Sphere.

Sacred Sakura Tree

After collecting enough Electro Sigils obtained from chests or quests, you can offer them to the Sacred Sakura Tree that rests on the Grand Narakumi Shrine. There are many bountiful rewards that you can collect from this tree, such as Dream Solvents, Fates, Fragile Resins, Billets and many more. In addition to these rewards, there is also an increase in the level of Electrogranum in specific levels. This will help you to pass through stronger Thunder Barriers and collect more rewards!

Bake Danuki

These adorable creatures can be found in almost every corner of Inazuma! You can identify their locations by listening to a musical tune. If you can hear it, a Bake Danuki must be nearby! Once you follow it a certain number of times, it will lead you to a treasure chest, and even more collectibles along the way!

I hope you enjoyed this guide that I made and found it useful! Out of all the information I have enlisted above, the most important one is to HAVE FUN! Nothing is comparable to this rule.
