Hi, Marisa Honkai here, and this is Honkai Impact 5.0 Tier List. In 5.0, a powerful new Herrscher slashes into the game - Herrscher of Flamescion! A lot of new bosses have joined the battle - MHT-3B Arena, MHT-3B Abyss (Fire UP), Kasumi (Type Counter) with Ice/Fire vulnerability and Hellmaru (Ice UP). Let’s see how much the tier lists have shifted.
[This tier list outlines which valkyries are used often in getting top placements in EX Abyss and EX Arena. I use Top 3 RedLotus / 2% Arena as the baseline, with Top 100 EX Abyss and T100 EX Arena as their maximum potential. Most DPS are judged as S-rank unless a specific rank is shown in the pic, which indicates that they are/were farmable.]
✦ 5.0 CN BOSS LIST
This tier list also considers the bosses that appear in CN server. Global/SEA server has been following the list accurately for the past several versions.
✦ NEW Kiana Herrscher of Flamescion
- Flamescion is currently the best fire damage dealer in the game with multiple top scores, even on Rimestar! In 5.0, the bosses are in her favour, dominating (almost) every single week.
- Flamescion is also amazing in the new Elysian Realm mode. Get her full gear and you'll secure up to 500 crystals every week!
- 💰 Furthermore, she's pretty easy on your wallet; she can work with farmable gears such as Leeuwenhoek and Bringer of Light. Just need her gun and decent support.
✧ For these reasons, Herrscher of Flamescion is placed in a tier above everyone else!

✦ DEMOTED Dea Anchora (EX > SS)
Dea Anchora's job has pretty much been taken over by Flamescion. Her only forte is in Abyss Fire and Ignite weather. She still has wide boss coverage and is still the easiest valk to use against Rimestar.
✦ DEMOTED Herrscher of Reason (EX > SS)
Herrscher of Reason is in a weird spot. She's still strong, her scores are still high, her best stigma is farmable, her frags are given for free in 5.0, her ADV supply just arrived the last patch but she just doesn't have any top scores anymore except vs Abyss Huodou.. and he hasn't appeared for a while now! Valks like Starchasm Nyx can beat her in other bosses but requires a very high investment. It has been three patches since Nyx arrival... I'm just gonna put HoR and Nyx next to each other.
✦ PROMOTED Fallen Rosemary (S > SS)
I underestimated Fallen Rosemary's potential in 4.9. She's really, really strong, in Memorial Arena and even Lightning UP abyss. (plus Quantum stages)
✦ DEMOTED Shadow Knight (S > A)
Shadow Knight is only used vs Argent Knight boss, and she hasn't appeared for the last three patches. It's time for SK to be demoted. Still good for lead skill - starting SP.
No changes to support tier list
