Last time I went over a bunch of stuff related to Ei making this statement. If it holds true then there's another theory that could be closer to proved.
Chess
So there's a Chess theory based on what the Gnosis looks like. MiHoYo was pretty sneaky having Yae hock it before we got a chance to see it but I think it doesn't really matter.
First off I think the other Rook is the Tsaritsa. The Bishops are Kusanali and Hydro. And the Knights are Murata and our girl in the perpetual Euthymia.
With Ei's line in play I think we can use the enemies to relate to the Archons of the same element. Rooks are castle towers and Zhongli was one Rook. Geo is defined by its defensive powers and the Geo slimes are similar to Cryo slimes through their elemental shields. So this should mean the Tsaritsa would be the other Rook.
If we look at the enemies we all know what Hydro mages and slimes do. And Dendro enemies create traps too. Bishops in chess are the weakest of the specialized pieces but by attacking at angles they tend to surprise players which lends well to enemies that trap.
Finally Knights are power pieces in chess. Pyro is the fan favorite element for dealing heavy damage and while players tend to think Electro needs a buff the Electro-Charged reaction is meant for doing widespread damage. Also we all know how strong the Raiden Shogun is by now.
So if we can use this method the appearance of each Gnosis should work out that way.
The only one missing is the king and there's been many theories of it but I think nobody really considers that the king technically isn't a piece. It's a representation of the player. So I don't think it would be a Gnosis in the traditional sense.
What do you guys think? And also do you think there's something to why we weren't shown Ei's Gnosis?
