[6.1 BETA] Eternal Moon Set - Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence Quick Review

From Honkai 6.1 BETA Articles

UID: 17601070 [SEA]

Hello captains! Excelsior07 is here and in this article, I would like to do a review about the new stigmata set in version 6.1, Eternal Moon set, Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence. Yeah, it’s indeed a very long name. I think this stigmata has the longest name in Honkai Impact 3 so far. How about we just call it Shenzhou? Anyway, Shenzhou is an Ice type supporting stigmata set, specially made for the new valkyrie in version 6.1, Li Sushang (Jade Knight). In this article, we will learn about this stigmata set’s abilities and compare it with other supporting stigmata sets. With that being said, let’s begin the review!

Disclaimer: In case captains are wondering whether Sushang’s stigmata is the new G4 stigmata or not, the answer is no. The G4 stigmata is a different stigmata from Sushang’s stigmata. If captains are looking for information about G4 stigmata, captains can read my article here:

SKILL DESCRIPTION AND ANALYSIS

Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence (T)

HP 379 ATK 110 DEF 88

Forging Blade Mantra

Increases Total DMG by 10.0%. When dealing DMG with Combo ATK, team's Ice DMG dealt increases by 30.0% for 12.0s (cannot stack). Triggering it again resets the duration.

Analysis: T piece grants 10% Total DMG buff for the user. If the user deals DMG to enemy by combo, team gets 30% Ice DMG buff for 12s. Cannot stack but can be refreshed. Sushang has a passive skill where she will cast Back Wind Slash combo to attack enemy with swords from off field if teammate casts weapon skill or hits the enemy with charged / combo ATK. Her off field attack is actually considered as combo ATK. Therefore, Sushang can easily refresh the Ice DMG buff from T piece even when she is not deployed.

Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence (M)

HP 458 DEF 243 CRT 5

Century-old Blade

Total DMG taken decreases by 30.0%. Ice DMG dealt by Basic ATKs and Combo ATKs increases by 50.0%.

Analysis: M piece reduces 30% Total DMG taken by the user and provides 50% Ice DMG buff for the user’s basic and combo ATKs. This piece doesn’t give any buff for the team.

Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence (B)

HP 393 ATK 59 DEF 132 CRT 8

Freshly Forged

Enter Reinforcement state for 18s after using at least 120/150 SP at once. Triggering it again resets the duration. In Reinforcement state, Ice DMG dealt by the team increases by 30.0%/55.0% (cannot stack).

Analysis: B piece allows the user to enter Reinforcement state for 18s after she spends 120 or 150 SP in one action, which is possible by casting ultimate. It gives 30% Ice DMG buff to the team if the user spends 120 SP, and 55% Ice DMG if the user spends 150 SP instead. Currently, Sushang is the only valkyrie who has 150 SP cost on her ultimate. It means she is the only one who can fulfill the 150 SP requirement from B piece to get the maximum buff.

2-pieces effect

Worldly Wine

In Reinforcement state, add 1 stack of Menacing Sword Ki to targets for 18s when the team deals Ice DMG, up to a maximum of 10 stacks. Every stack increases Ice DMG taken by targets by 1.0%. When equipped by Jade Knight, maximum stacks for Menacing Sword Ki increases by 12 stacks. Additionally, if B-piece is equipped, triggering QTE can activate Reinforcement state equivalent to spending 150 SP.

Analysis: With 2-pieces equipped, when the user is in Reinforcement state, get 1 stack of Menacing Sword Ki every time the team deals Ice DMG to enemy, max 10 stacks. For every stack presents, enemy take 1% more Ice DMG, max 10%. However, if this set is equipped by Sushang, increase max stacks by 12 which also increase Ice DMG taken debuff to 22% at most. When Sushang enters the field by QTE, she also activates the 150 SP requirement from B-piece, making the team gets 55% Ice DMG by simply triggering her QTE. From the 2-pieces effect, we can see that B piece is the core piece of Shenzhou set since the 2-pieces effect specifically gives further enhancement to B piece.

3-pieces effect

Shenzhou Pilgrimage

Increases max stack of Menacing Sword Ki to 15 stacks. Enemies affected by Menacing Sword Ki takes additional 30.0% ATK of Ice DMG every second. Increases team's shield-breaking efficiency by 50.0%.

Analysis: With 3-pieces equipped, further increase the max stacks of Menacing Sword Ki to 15 stacks. Therefore, Menacing Sword Ki max stacks will be 37 when equipped by Sushang. It also means the Ice DMG taken debuff is further increased to 37%. While Menacing Sword Ki is present, enemy receives 30% ATK of Ice DMG every second. 3-pieces also give 50% shield break buff to the team. Yes, a shield break buff. Remember that elemental shield like the one on Yae Kasumi exists. The 3-pieces will be very useful to deal with this kind of shield. Imagine this effect paired with Sushang’s team shield break buff on SS0 rank (also imagine there is other valkyrie on the team who is equipped with Paganini M that also provides team shield break buff).

DPS TEST AND COMPARISON

In this section, I will do two kind of DPS tests to see Sushang’s support ability when equipped with Shenzhou set, with Herrscher of Human: Ego as the main DPS valkyrie. For the first test, I will compare Shenzhou set with various supporting stigmata sets. And for the second test, I will test various stigmata pieces mixed with 2-pieces of Shenzhou set and compare them with full Shenzhou.

Preparation for DPS test is shown as below:

(Lineup used in DPS test)

Lineup: Herrscher of Human: Ego - Reverist Calico - Jade Knight (HoH RC JK. HoH lead)

Ranks: HoH S0 - RC SSS - JK SS0

Rotation:

RC yellow combo > active skill > purple combo > special active skill (predation) > ultimate > JK QTE > active skill > tap ATK (back wind slash) > ultimate > hold ATK (heart piercer) > HoH QTE > active skill > ultimate > special active skill > basic ATK until full Herrscher charge > charged ATK > special active skill > basic ATK until full Herrscher charge > charged ATK > special active skill > finisher

FIRST TEST

(Tested stigmata sets)

Tested stigmata sets:

- Shenzhou TMB

- Turgenev TB Mei: Beach Party M

- Turgenev TB Jin Shengtan M

- Aslaug TB Mei: Beach Party M

- Aslaug TB Jin Shengtan M

- Irene Adler TB Mei: Beach Party M

- Irene Adler TB Jin Shengtan M

- Jin Shengtan TMB

- Jin Shengtan TM Newton B

- Fu Hua: Margrave TMB

RESULT

(First DPS test result)

I'd like to talk about Mei: Beach Party M and Jin Shengtan M first. Those two pieces are used in 3 different sets: Turgenev, Aslaug, and Irene Adler. JST M has more stable DMG (15% Ice DMG while standby) while Mei M has bigger DMG but with short duration (15% Total DMG taken debuff for 4s, CD 8s). In three combination sets I mentioned before, Mei M output is always above JST M in this test. Therefore, if captains are aiming for higher DMG output, then Mei M is more preferred than JST M. Don’t worry, Sushang can reapply Mei M debuff with her Back Wind Slash attack from off field (the same also applies to Turgenev, JST, and Newton B).

Now take a look at the tested sets. From this DPS test, Turgenev TB Mei: Beach Party M is right below full Shenzhou with ~7.60% difference of DMG output, making it become the best alternative set in this test. If captains are wondering why I don’t use full Turgenev, that’s because Sushang can’t activate team buff from 3-pcs which provides 25% Ice DMG against Hunter Marked enemy when there is host’s summoned entity. Sushang’s off field attack isn’t summoned entity, it is considered as combo ATK instead. That’s why I used Turgenev TB combined with either Mei M or JST M instead of full set.

Below Turgenev TB Mei M (~92.40%) and Turgenev TB JST M (~89.85%) is JST TM Newton B (~82%). The percentage is kind of okay, but remember that in the DPS test mode, the enemy isn’t moving at all so it’s easier to keep them with your valkyrie inside Blue Phoenix circle (JST 2-pieces effect). Real better might differ depends on whether the enemy loves to move a lot or not. If captains want a higher DMG output, Newton B is better than JST B (full JST is ~75.71% of Shenzhou set) since Newton B provides Total DMG debuff, albeit with short duration like Mei M. Captains only use full JST for longer Blue Phoenix duration. Blue Phoenix with full JST lasts for 9s (2-pieces only lasts for 6s).

Irene Adler TB Mei M (~81.65%) is below JST TM Newton B and followed by Irene TB JST M (~79.97%). Irene’s Bewitched effect from B piece is applied by charged and ultimate. Sushang deals combo ATK, which means she can only apply the Bewitched effect from ultimate. The good thing is Bewitched effect lasts for 18s, which is long. Its duration is as long as Sushang's elemental breach by the way.

Aslaug TB Mei M (~79.74%) and Aslaug TB JST M (~78.22%) are below Irene 2-pieces combinations. Aslaug, although having considerable amount of buffs, can only be applied via ultimate. Feathered state duration from B piece is also short, lasting for 8s only, so the team will lose a portion of DMG after Feathered state duration is over.

Placed in the last position is full Margrave with ~74.56% of full Shenzhou output. It’s just below full JST output. Seems like Margrave isn’t that good on Sushang compared to the other alternative sets. Margrave buffs last for 18s, same like Irene and Sushang’s elemental breach, but Sushang can only trigger it from ultimate. Unless captains equip her with Cosmic Duality and use its active skill to trigger Margrave 2-pieces effect, which I don’t recommend since Sushang needs her signature weapon.

SECOND TEST

(Tested 2-pieces combinations)

Tested stigmata pieces:

- T piece: Irene Adler, Theresa Gluttony

- M piece: Jin Shengtan, Mei: Beach Party

- B piece: Cezanne, Irene Adler, Isaac Newton

RESULT

(Second DPS test result)

The best 2 pieces of Shenzhou set in this test are T and B. To be precise, captains need B piece to make Shenzhou set work. 2-pieces effect specifically mentioned about the B piece, that’s why Shenzhou B is mandatory. Think of it like any other stigmata sets that need specific piece to be usable, take Turgenev for example that can’t be used without B piece.

I have explained about Mei Beach Party M and Jin Shengtan M in the first DPS test and the same applies to the second DPS test as well (Mei M has big DMG but short duration, JST M has lower but more stable DMG). The same situation also applies to Gluttony T and Irene T. Irene T buffs team elemental DMG by 12% while on standby, which is more stable. As for Gluttony T, the buff is bigger but it’s a matter of picking the candies dropped by Sushang’s attacks. Make sure captains grab the candies as much as possible to maintain the Total DMG buff (16% on first picked candy and 24% on the next candies. Lasts for 5s, refreshable). In both tests, I used Infinity Duke emblem which extends pickup radius. Gluttony T itself also extends team pickup radius, that’s why I have little to no problem to pick the candies during the test.

For the B piece, nothing much I could say. But just in case captains ask why I use Cezanne B, that's because its effect can be triggered off field thanks to Sushang's off field Back Wind Slash (like I said before, Sushang's off field Back Wind Slash is considered as combo ATK). Other than that, the result is pretty much obvious. Once again, B piece is mandatory for Shenzhou set so captains would use either TB or MB (TB better).

VALKYRIE RECOMMENDATION

(Shenzhou set best user, Li Sushang "Jade Knight")

The only valkyrie who can fully utilize Shenzhou set is none other than Sushang herself. She is currently the only valkyrie who can fulfill 150 SP requirement on B piece via her ultimate. Although the 2-pieces allows her activate the 150 SP buff on B piece by just doing QTE. Yes, just by QTE. Not to mention the set gives Ice DMG taken debuff on 2-pieces effect (which is enhanced more on 3-pieces effect) and team shield break buff on 3-pieces which elevates Sushang’s shield break ability on SS0 rank to another level.

HOW TO GET

Captains can obtain Shenzhou set by pulling in the focused supply. In version 6.1, Shenzhou set will make its debut alongside Sushang’s signature weapon, Nocturnal Stealth. One pull costs 280 crystals and each piece has 50 pulls guarantee. Additionally, Sushang’s gears debut has a special offer where captains can pull 10 times in that supply for free. This is a good deal, so make sure captains don’t miss it!

CONCLUSION

“Should I pull this or not?”

If captains want Sushang to be at her peak then sure captains would want to pull Shenzhou set. I can say Sushang’s performance with Shenzhou set is kind of insane. She can trigger all the effects of the stigmata so easily. Imagine bypassing a 150 SP requirement by simply doing QTE. Captains need at least T and B pieces of Shenzhou set and she will be good. B piece is the most important, no B piece means no Shenzhou. As always, full set is more preferred because it enhances the Ice taken debuff from 2-pieces and boosts team shield break ability.

But if captains can’t afford to get Shenzhou set, luckily Turgenev set comes to save your day. Use Turgenev TB Mei: Beach Party M and Sushang is still fine. She needs her weapon though because it has high SP recovery for Sushang and gives team buffs as well as making her gameplay smoother (if she cast active skill during Sword Array mode, she can immediately tap ATK to cast Back Wind Slash combo).

Captains can read my article about Sushang's signature weapon Nocturnal Stealth here:

[6.1 BETA] Nocturnal Stealth and Nocturnal Stealth: Beam Quick Review

Okay captains, we’ve reached the end of my review about Shenzhou stigmata set. Hopefully my article could make captains better understand about the new stigmata set and how to utilize it. I do apologize if there is any information that I missed to include here. Have fun farming Sushang and good luck to every captains who want to pull her signature equipments! Excelsior07 is out and have a nice day, captains!
