Elysian Realm Guide - Chrono Navi

Check out my other guides!

Vermilion Knight: Eclipse

This guide will cover the new valkyrie, Chrono Navi, and her performance in the Elysian Realm, with recommended signets, sigils, supports and playstyle. This guide is focused around the Elysian Realm specifically, and thus may not apply to other game modes.

Gear:

Her best in slot is Rudder in Dream or its PRI, together with the new Ai Chan stigmata set, but a good FTP option is Gilded Librae with Leeuwenhoek TB and Thales M.

Basic Summary

Chrono Navi is a Mech type, fire damage battlesuit that can summon chakrams to do off field damage and gather. In the Elysian realm, since there isn't really off field damage, the chakrams provide an extra source of damage in addition to normal attacks. They also help add ignite trauma and hits to the combo hit counter.

Moves:

Aimer α -- This is the chakram thrown by the weapon skill, it can be knocked back up to 3 times by normal attacks.

Aimer β -- These are the 3 chakrams thrown by the charged attack, they can also be knocked back by normal attacks, once each.

Aimer γ -- The middle Aimer β chakram turns into Aimer γ once it is knocked back. This is a stationary ring of fire present on the battlefield, and pulls enemies in.

Λ Power -- This is the bar at the bottom of the screen, above HP. It has a max of 300, and is restored by knocking back Aimer α projectiles, 100 each time. Once the bar is full, it can be used to cast a charged attack.

Aimer Λ Domain -- If an Aimer γ is on field when the Ultimate is cast, it will turn into Aimer Λ Domain, with larger range, higher damage, and ignite trauma.

Counterattack Order -- A special weapon skill that can be cast shortly after using a charged attack.

Chrono Navi has a melee 5 sequence basic attack.

The 5 sequence basic attack

When she casts the weapon skill, she throws out an Aimer α projectile, which can be knocked back up to 3 times with her basic attacks. Each knock back restores 100 Λ Power.

Chrono Navi's weapon skill. Though hard to see, a chakram is thrown out behind the enemy, and is knocked back 3 times by the basic attacks.

At 300 Λ Power, Chrono Navi can cast a charged attack, throwing out 3 Aimer β projectiles, that can be knocked back once each. When the middle one is knocked back, it creates an Aimer γ cutter.

Chrono Navi's charged attack. Though difficult to see, she throws out 3 chakrams.

While an Aimer γ cutter is present on the field, casting the Ult turns it into an Aimer Λ Domain.

Chrono Navi's Ultimate, with Aimer γ cutter on the field

Chrono Navi also has two slightly different evasions, one forward and one backward. They both do slightly different damage when used.

Chrono Navi's forward evasion. Deals 2 instances of damage.

Chrono Navi's backward evasion. Deals 1 instance of damage.

Special Adjustments

Every character has certain special adjustments in Elysian Realm to make it both easier for newer players to use them and to allow them to fight solo in the realm.

Chrono Navi's Special Adjustments are:

- Valkyrie stats and skill level are adjusted to Lv. 80 equivalent

This is the same for all Elysian Realm valkyries, to put them on a level playing field.

- Valkyrie deals 150% more ignite DMG

- Valkyrie deals 50% more total DMG

These just generally help with increasing damage output, since Chrono Navi is normally a support unit.

Exclusive Signets

Chrono Navi's exclusive signets are mainly focused around the Aimer α/β/γ chakrams, with one focusing on the Ult and ignite.

(I accidentally had the summary option ticked when I got photos of the base signets, so I put the actual numbers in text.)

Blessing of Bladepiece

Base: 1600% ATK of Fire DMG

Blessing of Constant

Base: 150% ATK of Fire DMG

Blessing of Final Dream

Base: 150% ATK of Fire DMG

Blessing of Succession

Base: 100% ATK of Fire DMG

Blessing of Time Crystal

Base: 5% Fire DMG per stack

Recommended Signets

(These recommendations are just what I personally found fun, feel free to experiment and put your own recommendations in the comments below!)

- Exclusive Signets -

Most important:

Blessing of Succession

This is the best exclusive signet, giving damage, more chakrams and SP regen all at once. The damage boost will be enough until you can get the second exclusive signet, [Time Crystal]. The SP regen helps fuel Ult usage, and means that Eden is a good signet choice. Lastly, more chakrams give more damage and combo hits.

Second choice:

Blessing of Time Crystal > Blessing of Bladepiece

[Time Crystal] helps buff damage the most, with a maximum of +240% Fire damage. More chakrams then also mean faster stacks of Info Plus.

[Bladepiece] further buffs damage and ignite, together with buffing the Ult by giving it more gather and damage, as well as refilling Λ Power when used. This mainly helps make the attack cycle a bit smoother, and is nice to have, but not 100% necessary.

Last choice:

Blessing of Final Dream => Blessing of Constant

These last two signets do very similar things, giving more chakrams and chances to ricochet, but with different activations. Neither of them is really necessary either, and other Flame Chasers might be more worth it to you.

- Flame Chaser Signets -

Vill-V (2nd Core)

With the high frequency of weapon skills, Vill-V's signet buffs will have 100% uptime, making them very worth it. It's unclear to me whether the chakram hits count as weapon skill damage or not though, so [Act I] may or may not be useless.

Vill-V's enhanced signets are always amazing, so take them if you can.

Eden (1st Core)

The high SP regen from [Succession] opens up Eden's signets as an option, but the high Ult CD means that the 1st core is better. The SP bonus signets are best, and you should also take various SP regen signets from other Flame Chasers to help.

Eden's enhanced signets are decent, but not amazing, so you can skip them.

Other

Kevin (1st)

Especially if you have [Blessing of Bladepiece], a good amount of damage comes from Chrono Navi's Ult, and the charged attack afterwards. This can make Kevin's 1st core nice to have, to buff those moves specifically. One issue though, is the long Ult CD, which means there's a lot of downtime. If that makes it not worth it to you, you can go for Kalpas' signets instead.

Kalpas (2nd)

Kalpas gives good buffs, but also makes you a glass cannon. If this feels like an issue, you can take Hua's' signets as well for a shield.

At S rank, Chrono Navi heals HP and SP when knocking back Aimer α/β chakram, which means that she can actually gain stacks of Bloodboil Armor quite easily. Because of this, the enhanced signets can be worth picking up, if you don't go for another Flame Chaser core.

Hua (2nd)

Aside from the general buffs that Hua gives, the shield is also a good reason to take this. As mentioned in the Kalpas section, it's useful if you take his core, but I also had some issues with interrupted attacks during testing, so this could help with that.

Su (2nd)

Chrono Navi gets combo hits pretty fast, but you still need Su's bonus combo hits to make his set work well. Could be worth it if he has a +2 in the difficulty cycle buffs.

- Playstyle -

The playstyle is quite simple, just use the Ult/charged attack whenever it's available and make sure you always have a chakram sent out with the weapon skill.

- Support Valkyries -

Azure Empyrea and Raven are good support units, Chrono Navi has good gather already so more isn't really needed. Blood Rose is also really good, especially if you're taking Kalpas' signets.

- Remembrance Sigils -

General: Vill-V's [Pseudo Miracle], switch as needed and end with [Faraway Ship]

Support: Start with [Because of You], switch to [Falling in Past Light] after using it

Alternatively, you can try [Thorn Crown] with [Falling in Past Light], taking both [Succession] and [Time Crystal] at the start. I don't have access to Thorn Crown in the beta so I can't test it out right now. Just remember that it reduces max HP, and so Kalpas isn't as viable.

Man I can't believe the cabbage is playable now this is wild

Expect a Vermilion Knight guide soon, and Griseo + HoR with Star of Eden guides eventually at some point maybe
