Hello captains! Excelsior07 is here and in this article, I would like to do a review about the new stigmata set in Version Kiana, In the Name of Origin set, Raiden Mei. Raiden Mei is a Lightning DMG type stigmata set which is the signature stigmata set of one of the two new Herrschers in Version Kiana, Herrscher of Origin. In this article, we will learn about what the new stigmata set has to offer and how it performs. Without further ado, let’s begin the review!

SKILL DESCRIPTION AND ANALYSIS
Raiden Mei (T)

Total DMG increases by 20.0%. Lightning DMG from Basic/Combo/Charged ATKs increases by 50.0%. Ultimate Evasion Skill CD shortened by 20.0%.
Analysis:
The user gains 20% Total DMG and basic, combo, and charged ATKs gain 50% Lightning DMG. The user’s ultimate evasion skill CD is reduced by 20%. The effects are pretty straightforward since it has no duration and no restriction such as “Herrscher form” which makes this piece can theoretically be used by any Lightning valkyrie. However, T-piece is obviously best suited for HoO since it grants big Lightning DMG buff for her basic and combo ATKs (which are her main DMG sources) and reduces her ultimate evasion skill CD which she needs to trigger Time-frozen Domain. In case captains are wondering what is Time-frozen Domain, it's basically the skill to stop all timers. HoO has multiple ways to trigger Time-frozen Domain: cast Regressive Origin combo (when Mind Body Insight kinetic is full, tap ATK when HoO is sheathing sword or at the 4th sequence of basic ATK), block an attack with HoO's signature weapon Domain of Unity, trigger ultimate evasion skill (evade an attack then tap ATK afterward), and ultimate.
The ultimate evasion skill CD reduction actually benefits S2-rank HoO the most because her S2 skill also reduces ultimate evasion skill CD by 2.5s and another 5s after consuming one Origin’s Shadow. Origin’s Shadow itself can be obtained by entering battle for the first time or casting 2 Malice Expunged combo ATKs (hold ATK when HoO has 3 Twisted Origin stacks). Still, having a faster ultimate evasion skill CD is good even for HoO below S2-rank.

In Herrscher form, after Combo ATK hits, deal 30.0% more Lightning DMG for 10s; retriggering refreshes duration. In Herrscher form, take 20.0% less DMG. After casting weapon active, reduces weapon active CD by 40.0%; CD: 15s.
Analysis:
When the user is in Herrscher form, after her combo ATK hits the enemies, she gains 30% Lightning DMG for 10s. For your information, HoO’s passive skill stated that she is always in Herrscher form which means she will always get the Lightning DMG buff after hitting enemies with her combo ATKs.
She also take 20% less DMG in Herrscher form. After casting active skill, her active skill CD is reduced by 40%. Domain of Unity active skill has 10s CD so with this CD reduction effect, its active skill CD will be reduced by 4s. This active skill CD reduction effect itself has 15s CD.

Deal 16.0% more Total DMG. Triggering Time-frozen Domain restores 3.0 SP, CD: 3s, and makes all enemies take 9.0% more Total DMG for 7s, can stack 3 times. Triggering it again refreshes its duration.
Analysis:
The user gains 16% Total DMG. When Time-frozen Domain is triggered, she gains 3 SP (CD 3s). Once again, the SP recovery effect is important to help HoO gain SP faster for her ultimate. Additionally, triggering Time-frozen Domain also makes the enemies take 9% more Total DMG from the user for 7s. The debuff can be stacked 3 times, which means the max debuff from this piece is 27% Total DMG taken. This is a strong and rare debuff which is very important for HoO since it allows enemies to take more Total DMG from her attacks.
2-pieces effect
Path Set Against Odds
In Herrscher form, Basic/Combo/Charged ATKs deal 35.0% more Lightning DMG. Triggering Time-frozen Domain generates Thunderfall, making all enemies take 8.0% more Elemental DMG for 7s, can stack 3 times. This effect is independent and triggering it again refreshes its duration.
Analysis:
The user’s basic, combo, and charged ATKs gain 35% Lightning DMG during Herrscher form. When Time-frozen Domain is triggered, generates Thunderfall to inflict 8% Elemental DMG taken to enemies for 7s. Thunderfall can be stacked 3 times which means Thunderfall can inflict 24% Elemental DMG taken debuff at max stacks.
3-pieces effect
Sword Held Against Fate
All enemies take 20.0% more Lightning DMG from the character’s Basic/Combo/Charged ATK (independent). After any team member casts Joint Bursting in Herrscher form, all enemies enter Listen Well state for 10s (retriggering refreshes duration), which makes them take 15.0% more Total DMG (independent). Additionally, after such enemies are hit by the character’s Combo ATK 5 times, they take 21.0% more Total DMG for 10s (independent; retriggering refreshes duration). Exit clears the counter.
Analysis:
Enemies take 20% more Lightning DMG from the user’s basic, combo, and charged ATKs. If any team member casts Joint Bursting in Herrscher form, enemies enter Listen Well state and they take 15% more Total DMG 10s. Captains can notice that the 3-pieces effect has the word “Joint Bursting.” So Joint Bursting is the special mechanism in Herrschers trio team (in case captains don’t know the Herrschers trio team consists of Herrschers of Finality, Truth, and Origin) where HoTr’s and HoO’s ultimate become a special ultimate that consumes less SP and force tri-gger-s HoFi’s special QTE.
If enemies in Listen Well state are hit by the user’s combo ATK 5 times, they take 21% more Total DMG for 10s. These two effects are independent to each other. When the user leaves the field, the 5 hits counter is reset. HoO’s Malice Expunged combo deals 8 hits in total which means she can trigger 21% Total DMG taken debuff with ease.
DPS TEST AND COMPARISON
Note: This DPS test is only for testing and comparing the DMG output between tested subjects. Actual performance in the real battle may differ depending on the situation.
In this section, I will do 3 DPS tests with different scenarios. First test is to compare full Raiden Mei set with various stigmata set and second test is to compare full Raiden Mei set with 2-pieces Raiden Mei set combined with various stigmata piece. Both first and second test will be done on standard Lightning team with HoO as main DPS valkyie. Scenario for the third test will be explained later.
Preparation for DPS test is shown below:

Lineup: Golden Diva - Herrscher of Truth - Herrscher of Origin (GD HoTr HoO. GD lead)
Ranks: GD SSS - HoTr S0 - HoO S0
Equipments:
- GD: Echo of Paradise: Time Ruins + Handel TMB
- HoTr: Domain of Ascension: Truth Continuity + Bronya Zaychik TMB
- HoO: Domain of Unity + various stigmata sets (TEST SUBJECT)

FIRST TEST
Stigmata sets used in the first DPS test
Tested stigmata sets:

RESULT
First DPS test result
Benares: Awakening has the “closest” DMG output to full Raiden Mei set at ~85.47%. Well it’s not really that close, the gap is still quite far but it’s indeed the second best stigmata set in the first test. Since Benares mostly grants buff related to Herrscher form, HoO can get full benefit from the set. Benares is followed by Zhenyi TB Handel M, Zeno TMB, and Monet T Handel MB at third, fourth, and fifth places respectively. HoO can’t activate the ranged Total DMG buff from Zeno B. She can’t also use full Handel because Eden already used it and both Handel T and 3-pieces effects cannot stack. That doesn’t really mean HoO can’t use full Handel though. In real battle, there might be a condition where Eden is using Turgenev for faster rotation (in exchange of lower DMG) so in case captains don’t have Raiden Mei set, HoO could use full Handel in such a situation. However, please remember that full Handel has Lightning DMG taken debuff that is triggered after the user spends 60/120 SP. HoO can’t fulfill the 120 SP requirement for the max Lightning DMG taken debuff because her ultimate only costs 75 SP. It's basically the same situation like Fallen Rosemary and Mobius (Infinite Ouroboros) where their ultimate costs 100 SP and can't fulfill the 120 SP requirement.
SECOND TEST
Stigmata pieces used in the second DPS test
Tested stigmata pieces:
- T-piece: Benares: Awakening, Linnaeus, Monet, Shakespeare, Wang Zhenyi, Zeno
- M-piece: Benares: Awakening, Handel, Mei: Beach Party, Zeno
- B-piece: Benares: Awakening, Cezanne, Handel, Isaac Newton, Wang Zhenyi
RESULT
Second DPS test result
In this test, Raiden Mei TB combinations are mostly dominating over TM and MB combinations. At ~90.78%, Raiden Mei TB Handel M is the best TB combination as well as the second best stigmata combination in the second test. For the MB combination, Benares T Raiden Mei MB is the best MB combination (~87.29%) and placed fifth overall. While for the TM combination, Raiden Mei TM Cezanne B is the best TM combination (~85.67%) and placed eighth overall.
From the second test, we can conclude that the priority for 2-pieces Raiden Mei set for HoO DPS would be TB > MB > TM. However, each piece has important effect such as T with ultimate evasion skill CD reduction, M with active skill CD reduction, and B with SP recovery and Total DMG taken debuff. Therefore, it’s still highly recommended for captains to complete Raiden Mei set.
THIRD TEST
For the third and last test in this article, Raiden Mei set will be compared with various supporting stigmata sets and 2-pieces combinations on Herrschers trio team.
“Wait, why using supporting stigmata?”
Don’t get confused. HoO is a Lightning DPS herself, but in Herrschers trio team she also doubles as team enabler that provides little buffs only for Herrschers trio team.

Third DPS test result
The 2-pieces combination of Raiden Mei TM Cezanne B is the second best set (~92.38%) for HoO in the Herrschers trio team, while Aslaug TM Cezanne B become the best alternative set (~89.40%) that is placed right below Raiden Mei TM Cezanne B. Yes, surprisingly Turgenev TB Aslaug M performs just below Aslaug TM Cezanne B (~87.83%). While Aslaug TM can’t utilize the Feathered state buff because the lack of B-piece, 36% Total DMG taken debuff from Cezanne B kind of compensates it. Captains can also enjoy the 12% Total DMG buff from 2-pieces Aslaug and 20% Fire DMG when HoO is in standby from the M-piece. Still, like I said before, full Raiden Mei set is still more recommended regardless whether captains are using HoO as Lightning DPS or Herrschers trio team enabler.
It seems like I’m encouraging captains to fully gearing HoO. Well there’s a good reason for it and captains would know about it soon in the later section.
VALKYRIE RECOMMENDATION
Raiden Mei set recommended user, Herrscher of Origin
As the stigmata set that mostly boosts DMG for basic and combo ATKs, provides CD reduction for both ultimate evasion skill and weapon active skill, and recovers SP, Raiden Mei set is best suited to Herrscher of Origin. Its effects are best synchronized with HoO's play style that relies on casting active skill and triggering ultimate evasion skill in order to trigger Time-frozen Domain. Raiden Mei set is also the best stigmata to use in the Herrschers trio team because of 3-pieces effect which provides Total DMG taken debuff after Joint Bursting.
HOW TO GET
Captains can obtain Raiden Mei set by pulling in special supply. In Version Kiana, Raiden Mei set and HoO’s signature weapon, Key of Limpidity, will be available in special supply like the one in Raven (Midnight Absinthe) and Spina Astera debuts where captains can obtain 5 Focused Supply cards for every 10 pulls (max 80 pulls). One pull costs 280 crystals and each piece has 30 pulls guarantee instead of the usual 50 pulls guarantee, which means captains are guaranteed to get all pieces within 120 pulls. Wishing Well is unavailable.
HoO's equipment special supply
Additionally, captains can obtain one Raiden Mei stigmata box for free! To obtain the stigmata box, captains only need to complete story chapter 33, In the Name of the Truth. It means captains need at least 90 pulls to get all pieces for HoO, assuming captains get weapon and 2 stigmata pieces from the supply and get the last stigmata piece from the box.
CONCLUSION
“Should I pull this or not?”
I think Herrscher of Origin’s equipment would be captains’ top priority to pull in Version Kiana since it’s relatively cheap thanks to the cashback system and 1 free stigma box. It’s rare to see a Herrscher who can be obtained for free and cheap to build at her debut. When captains are done fully gearing HoO, she can be your flexible and strong Lightning IMG-type DPS. Based on my DPS test before, Raiden Mei set priority for HoO DPS would be TB > MB > TM. But once again, HoO’s equipment is on cashback supply so make sure captains grab them all, especially her weapon since it’s a golden rule nowadays that valkyries need their weapon so that they can be properly playable.

“But I don’t have Herrscher of Truth.”
Well, we all know that HoTr is now the core support for both Fire and Lightning teams so HoTr (and her equipment) is still a must pull. However, I still highly recommend captains on pulling HoO’s equipment in Version Kiana since cashback supply is never coming back. In context of building the Herrschers trio team in Version Kiana, the priority would be HoO’s gears > HoTr + gears > HoFi + gears.
