How to unlock:
Use the teleport waypoint located to the east of Tatarasuna, and fly towards the northwest of the map. You will find Miyuki, the Shrine Maiden, on the hill. Talk to Miyuki to initiate the quest.
Note: If the NPC isn’t there, try completing the Archon Quests (Main Story) and the World Quest “Tatara Tales” first.
Brief:
For this quest we need to complete Miyuki’s tasks.
Steps:
1. Investigate the Treasure Hoarder camp
When Miyuki meets us, she will tell us what has happened. The Thunder Sakura trees are different from how they used to be – not only do the flowers no longer bloom, but the trees are also dangerous to approach. Miyuki suspects that this has something to do with those Treasure Hoarders near the Thunder Sakura trees and she hopes that we can help her out.
Following the navigation of the quest, you can get to the Treasure Hoarder camp directly from the teleport waypoint in the south of Tatarasuna.
After defeating the enemies in the camp, we talk to Hideaki, one of the Treasure Hoarder. Hideaki tricks us by pretending that he has reinforcements and escapes while we are distracted.
We report back to Miyuki about the current situation. She thinks that the Treasure Hoarders actions are not enough to cause such great damage. Things are getting confusing again, but the immediate concern is to tackle the Treasure Hoarders’ “juvenile antics”.
2.Remove the “juvenile antics”
In this step, we need to find 5 Thunder Sakura trees on the island and solve the problems with each one of them.
Let’s take one of the Thunder Sakura trees for example. When we get near a Thunder Sakura tree, the tree will hurl lagged lightning strikes on our location, dealing thunder damage. We need to turn on elemental sight to find the abnormal spots and get them hit by the lightning strikes to clear them. There are 3 abnormal spots near each Thunder Sakura tree.
Upon clearing the abnormalities, you can find an investigation spot and a chest. You can get rid of the Treasure Hoarder’s antics by investigating those spots.
For your convenience, here are the locations of the 5 Thunder Sakura trees.
First tree: North of the teleport waypoint of Kujou Encampment
Second tree: Not too far from the northeast of where Miyuki is
Third tree: By the sea, north of the Statues of The Seven in Tatarasuna
Fourth Tree: On the mountain north of Tatarasuna
Fifth tree: On the mountain in the southwest of Tatarasuna
All five locations
After clearing all the “juvenile antics” on the 5 trees, we go back to Miyuki and report what has happened.
3.Investigate the camp again
Teleport to the waypoint nearest the quest and fly to the northeast.
Defeat the Fatui when reaching the camp.
Talk to Hideaki, Hideaki will reveal his secret weapon – Thunder Sakura crystal, which is a monster in the shape of an Electro Hypostasis.
Defeat it and talk to Miyuki to complete the Sakura Arborism world quest.
Summary:
This quest involves many combats but the puzzles are quite easy. Overall it’s not very difficult to complete.
