First thing first, as in previous post, I want to address a trigger warning for those who don't like comparisons between HYV games. If you easily get angry every time someone compares a character from one game to another character from the other game, please leave this page immediately. I don't want to cause your fury. That's a kindly request from me.
Also, my comparison is mainly between Genshin and HSR, with less focus on HI3 because I'm not an active player of HI3, and I don't know every character from there.
There might also be some spoilers for those who haven't completed the Genshin story up to version 3.7 yet.
Here I want to discuss my experience in the Jarilo-VI Trailblazer Quest.
- As a member of the Astral Express Crew, we embarked on a journey to Jarilo-VI, our next destination. Upon arrival, we discovered that the planet was frozen due to the Stellarone crisis. Additionally, there was a conflict between the Overworld and the Underworld factions.
- Btw, Belobog gives me Fontaine vibe. I hope they serve as inspiration for future Genshin development.
- Our arrival in the city was far from welcoming. Bronya appeared, and we were subsequently arrested. However, we managed to escape with an epic trick to the Underworld.
- There, we met Seele, who explained the situation to us, and we began our search for a solution. Unfortunately, Cocolia, the ruler of Belobog, took her daughter to the Stellarone.
- Determined to prevent Bronya from being completely brainwashed, we followed them and intervened just in time. Cocolia then utilized the power of the Stellarone to awaken a gigantic robot, initiating the next boss battle.
- The battle was truly spectacular, and I now understand why so many people love the Wildfire soundtrack. While I wouldn't say I 'love' it, it certainly enhanced the atmosphere.
- To my surprise, we met our demise once again. The subsequent scene was a big mystery to me. We found ourselves in some sort of Cosmic Space, walking towards the center and uncovering new information about Cocolia's motivations.
- Eventually, we acquired the power of Preservation and returned to the realm of the living. Defeating Cocolia reminded me of Signora's Death. Poor Bronya ;-;
- By resolving the Stellarone crisis, we opened up the Underworld, allowing its inhabitants to venture out into the Overworld. The static scenes were exceptional, and with the problem solved, we returned to our train.
Now something about the characters:
- Bronya - What more can I say... she's literally Bronya from HI3, or is she? In my previous post, I put '...' at the end of a comparison to Silver Wolf. I would like to discuss who resembles Bronya from HI3 more: Silver Wolf or Bronya HSR?
- Clara - Another reference to Sandrone. If it's believed that this robot is also her weapon, then Clara and Svarog might have been inspired by them.
- Gepard - I'm not particularly interested in his character. He may be Bronya's brother, but he didn't catch my attention.
- Hook - She's like a Klee, a small pyromaniac kid with an irritating voice, lmao.
- Natasha - The equivalent of Baizhu, both serving as doctors.
- Pela - I might sound strange, but she gives me Yun Jin vibes. I've also heard that she resembles Scaramouche and Mona's childe, and I agree, but I personally see more of Yun Jin in her.
- Sampo - Reminded me of Itto... nothing more. But where's his 'Kuki'?
- Seele - She's a unique character on her own. I can't wait to see her in Genshin. I wonder what role she will play. Also, I'm curious if they will introduce a scythe as a new weapon in Genshin. Speaking of weapons, what about Bronya? She also wields a gun. Guns in Genshin? I can't imagine that.
- Oh, I almost forgot - Serval - Star Rail's Xinyan, but this time she hasn't been forgotten for a year.
