[FONTAINE ARCHON QUEST SPOILERS] [ATTACK ON TITAN SPOILERS]
[<] [<] [NEXT Quest>>] [Part 3] [NEXT Act>>]
We went to Hotel Debord just as Navia asked us to. We talked about the dissolving. We don't know who is responsible for that. I can think it's the Fatui because they are 'evil', but that would also be irrational since Arlecchino wants to save Fontaine... also, why didn't this guy finish speaking? Who dissolved him?
After we were done eating, we went to the Opera plaza to try to meet the Hydro Archon. Near the fountain, the Traveler could still hear voices. The Traveler came closer only to find themselves in a realm with... an Oceanid? She couldn't tell us who she is because her memories got washed away. The Traveler speculated that she might be one of the girls who were dissolved. So... do dissolved Fontainians become Oceanids? No... It can't be. Oceanids are Hydro life forms that existed at the time of the previous Hydro Archon. I don't think they can be created.
No way... it's not dissolving? They are 'released'? So every Fontainian is an Oceanid; they just need to be released?
We came back to the real world only to find ourselves in the middle of a fight! A large group of Mekhs was coming at us, and Spina de Rosula with Navia in the front were fighting them. Soon, Clorinde showed up and... helped us?
Clorinde told Navia that her father wanted her safety, which was irritating for Navia. She didn't want to hear about her father - Callas. Clorinde also warned Navia that someone is after her, and the Mekhs didn't have a serial number. The Traveler regained consciousness after the conversation. Paimon shortly told what had happened.
Turned out that... WHAT!? Paimon drank Navia's Fonta which was spiked with the water from the Primordial Sea? Someone wanted to dissolve Navia. It's just like in Attack on Titan and the Spinal Fluids.
Paimon deduced that the water from the Primordial Sea raises Hydro sensitivity for non-Fontaine people.
We told Navia that Vacher could see the crime of dissolution. Then we went to Spina de Rosula Strongholds. I imagined it differently.
Navia told us about her father - Callas, who was accused of murdering his own friend but died in a Duel of Honor. Navia believes it was a set-up, and he was framed. She was also concerned about why her father, even after being seriously injured, refused to give up and died in the arena. She also told us that her mother died as a complication of her birth. She's technically an orphan, Arlecchino's target. Additionally, it was Clorinde who was Callas' opponent in that duel.
After hearing Callas' story, I immediately thought about the conversation between two people at the Romaritime Harbor at the beginning of the Fontaine Archon Quest. They might have talked about him.
We rested for the night, and in the morning, we met Navia who hadn't slept all night looking for clues. We decided to go to Nuevillete Archives to find some reliable sources of information.
