Obsequies Performed, A Long Road Ahead
Last time we ended up with a cliffhanger after the fight with Phantylia.
We went to Divine Foresight, Fu Xuan is such a cutie.
We've been rewarded for our help with the highest standard treatment in Luofu.
We needed to discuss some things:
- Let's discuss Phantylia first: she was the mastermind behind all of this. It was all just a trap for Luofu to lure them into the self-destruction.
- Let's talk about the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: since severing of the Arbor, Abundance become a taboo, master of the way of immortality were ruined and the Alchemy Commission became a shadow of its former glory. At that moment, discord has been planted, and some of the Disciples decided to work with the enemy, acquiring the Stellaron to revive the Arbour. They succeeded, but they haven't gained anything. They just became traitors for Luofu and sacrificial offerings in Lord Ravager's scheme.
- Let's discuss the Stellaron Hunters: Matrix of Prescience saw the prophecy that Kafka received from the Elio, who foresaw all manner of possibilities for Luofu. That prophecy is the most beneficial future for Luofu. Discovering the Legion's intention and Phantylia defeat was predicted.
Still, we don't know how was the Stellarone brought onto the Xianzhou. Fu also found Tingyun's fan and asked us if we can deliver it to Yukong.
We went to the Palace of Astrum, we've met Xueyi talking with Yukong. We passed the fan to Tingyun, mourning her passing and wandering where is the real one. We've been invited to Foxian funeral, then we went to check Tingyun's belongings. We found there a gift for her coworker. We inspected other things:
- The box: There were seeds and The Sleepless Earl printed on the box. Welt seems to see that before.
- The knife: March noticed it's a kitchen knife... oh no... *Danganronpa flashbacks*. There was an ad of Spices Supreme.
- The bow: March though it might be for her.
We started to give things from her belongings to the people she wanted to give it. Small chest with plant seeds to the Sleepless Earl. We received Tingyun's Blend in return.
We arrived near the Aurum Alley only to meet with Qingque. Then the new area got unlocked.
We went to Spices Supreme, we returned the knife, and we received Chili Oil Beef Offal Stew.
Next, we found Yukong at Stargazer Navalia, we gave her the bow, then her coworker came and gave us a Soul-Soothing Paper Kite.
Now we have to place those gifts on the starskiff. Soul-Soothing started.
After that, we met a General who wanted to gift us something. Free real estate meme is here.
We came back to the Divine Foresight. Jing Yuan gave us jade abacus - the symbol of allied friendship. Additionally, Dan Heng's banishment has been relieved.
We came back on the Express, Himeko suggested she will be the next to go with us on the adventure.
Our next destination is Penacony, that's a prison planet but after the Stellarone burst, Xipe, the Aeon of Harmony, help them to transform it into the prosperous and ethereal realm. Anyway, it feels like they took the inspiration from Australia.
In the ending cutscene, we could see a conversation between Jing Yuan and Luocha about the Stellarone crisis. Turned out that they might have brought it to the Xianzhou. Then Jingliu appeared, talking about killing of the Aeon of Abundance.
Now some thoughts:
- That was rather short and sad quest. We still don't know where is the real Tingyun. Some people are saying she might be under Natasha's health-care since this might be visible on Post-Op Conversation Light Cone, but I don't really believe that.
- Trailblazer got the path of Destruction at Space Station, then the path of Preservation at Jarilo-VI. It is strongly hinted that we might get the path of Hunt next at Xianzhou. I am unsure which path we might get at Penacony. If Herta's Store is the right place to suggest, that it would be the path of Nihility, but Xipe - Aeon of Harmony was mentioned to help them.
- Yaoshi - Aeon of Abundance is in danger. Kafka told us that even Aeons can be killed.
- I hope this is not the end of the Xianzhou Arc. We haven't found the Stellarone yet, and we haven't got a new path.
