Dragonspine
Greetings Travelers,
This is the final installment of my precious chest guide. The guide will be updated as new regions come out.
It is a bit trickier to show the locations for Dragonspine since some of them are in the caverns. I have tried to include a few extra pictures to show the locations, but feel free to leave a comment below if you are having difficulties locating any of the chests.
Dragonspine
Note: The gold numbers indicate the chest is part of a world quest.
1. Defeat camp
2. Defeat Fatui
3. Defeat Fatui
4. Complete Seelie/ Cryo puzzle and defeat enemies.
5. Defeat Fatui
6. Defeat Mitachurl and Cryo Sawachurl
7. Defeat Treasure Hoarders
8. Light torches and defeat flying machine (don't know the name for this)
9. Defeat camp
10. Defeat camp
11. Defeat enemies 3 Hilichurls, 2 Icewall Mitachurls, and Frost Lawachurl in 180s.
12. Complete gliding challenge to collect Anemo particles
13. Defeat Frostarm Lawachurl and Hilichurl to spawn chest
14. Unlock underground cavern by activating Cryo Totems and Mechanism.
Go down into cavern.
Break rock.
Use crimson agate to break the ice to reveal a chest inside a cage.
Use crimson agate to reveal mechanism. Activate 2 mechanisms to unlock cage door.
15. Defeat Fatui
16. Complete 2 Seelie puzzles to unlock the gate with chests. This is part of The Land Entomed Quest.
17. Make a right turn after entering Starglow Cavern (area with book shelves/ artifacts)
18 - 21. Follow the path upward in Starglow cavern until you reach an exit. Activate 4 mechanisms near the Ruin Grader. You will have to use some crimson agate to reveal some mechanisms underneath ice. Then defeat Ruin Ruin Grader.
22. Go to the bottom level of Starglow Cavern. This is part of In The Mountains Quest. Defeat 3 waves of mobs and Cryo Abyss Mages in 180s. Tip: Find the 3 warming Seelies in the area first.
23. Defeat Frostarm Lawachurl to access chest in the hut
24. Defeat camp
25. Defeat Ruin Grader
26. Complete Seelie Puzzle
27. Defeat Pyro Abyss Mages
28. Defeat Hilichurls
29. Activate mechanism and defeat flying machine. Then go down into the cavern to find the chest.
30. Feed the foxes mentioned by Joel's father for 5 days.
31. Find the 8 tablets to activate the mechanism that reveals the treasure room.
32. Defeat Frostarm Lawachurl
33. Activate 2 mechanisms. Break ice with crimson agate to reveal 2nd mechanism. Then the gate will open.
34. Head towards the peak of Dragonspine. The precious chest is located at the top of a tower slightly east of the peak.
35. Find the Princess, Scribe, and Priest boxes to open the Secret Room.
36 - 38. Complete In the Mountains Quest by unlocking Peak of Vindagnyr Domain
Congratulations! Now you should have all Dragonspine Precious chests!
