Artifact Sets
- 4pc Obsidian Codex is his best 4pc Set. If you didn't know, this is a great set for Natlan DPS characters since it can provide +15% DMG dealt and +40% CRIT Rate.
- While farming this, you can temporarily equip a 4pc Unfinished Reverie (great in Burning teams). 4pc Deepwood Memories is also a decent choice, but it's better equipped by a Support character
- 2pc Sets you can use are: Dendro DMG, ATK %, Obsidian Codex, or Golden Troupe
Main Stat & Substats
- He looks for the typical stats that DPS characters like! Keep in mind that with 4pc Obsidian Codex, he prefers to build CRIT DMG over CRIT Rate!
- He doesn't need to build ER as his Burst is not extremely essential.
WEAPON OPTIONS
- Earth Shaker - the new Natlan Craftable is a great F2P option. It provides ATK % and the Passive will increase Skill DMG. The Passive also suits his teams!
- Stat sticks: Wolf's Gravestone (ATK %), Blackcliff Slasher (CRIT DMG)
- Serpent Spine - Provides CRIT Rate, can increase his DMG if you don't take DMG.
- Tidal Shadow - Fontaine Craftable that provides ATK % as long as you have a consistent healer on the team
TEAM COMPS
Kinich's A1 Passive pushes him towards Burning and Burgeon teams.
Burning - Pyro / maybe second Pyro / Flex
- Pyro - Bennett, Dehya, Thoma, Xiangling
- Flex - Emilie (great off-field DPS character), Zhongli (comfort), maybe another Dendro character but Kinich's Dendro application should be enough.
Burgeon - Hydro / Pyro / Flex
- Hydro - Xingqiu, Yelan, Furina
- Pyro - Thoma, Dehya, Bennett
- Flex - you can add a healer if you don't already have one
Hyperbloom - You can use Kinich as an on-field Dendro character in a Hyperbloom team, but this is less ideal as he would not be making full use of his A1 Passive
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wishd as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/90 (for additional CRIT DMG) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
