BUDGET CHASCA GUIDE
SUMMARY
Chasca is a 5-Star Bow DPS character who primarily uses special CAs to deal both Anemo and Elemental DMG during her Nightsoul Blessing state

Chasca leveled to 80/90 due to her Ascension Stat (CRIT Rate %). You can level her up to 90 for maximum Reaction DMG since she can trigger different Elemental Reactions depending on your team comp

ARTIFACTS
Artifact Sets
- Like most other Natlan DPS characters, 4pc Obsidian Codex will be her BIS Artifact Set
- If you expect to use Chasca with Furina, 4pc Marechaussee Hunter can work great too!
- If the above are not yet available to you, consider temporary sets based on what is currently available to you
- 2pc Sets: Anemo DMG Bonus / ATK / Marechaussee Hunter
- 4pc Sets: Wanderer's Troupe, Desert Pavilion Chronicle
Main Stat & Substats
- ATK % Sands is the typical pick for Chasca. EM Sands can also be viable
- ATK % Goblet is preferred over the standard Anemo DMG Goblet as Chaser's Elemental DMG has higher scaling than the standard Anemo Shells
WEAPON OPTIONS
- CRIT Weapons
- Scion of the Blazing Sun - Provides CRIT Rate so be careful not to overcap with 4pc Obsidian Codex. Passive makes enemies take more CA DMG
- Skyward Harp - Provides CRIT Rate and high Base ATK. Passive has a bit of CRIT DMG
- ATK % Weapons
- Song of Stillness - Fontaine Craftable option that increases DMG Dealt after being healed. This is great F2P Weapon since Chasca can deal DMG of various Elemental Types
- Chain Breaker - Natlan Craftable option with a suitable Passive that can increase her ATK % (potentially also EM) based on teammates
- Hamayumi - Inazuma Craftable option that increases CA DMG. Doubles the effect if Chasca has 100% Energy, but will not always be the case
- Ibis Piercer - Limited-time Event weapon that can increase EM, but not the most ideal Passive for Chasca
TEAM COMPS
To deal Elemental DMG, Chasca needs teammates who are Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and/or Electro. Due to her A1 Passive, she preferably 3 different Elements to get maximum A1 stacks in order to increase her Elemental DMG.
She prefers teammates who can buff her or deal Off-field DMG while she charges her CAs.
- Buffers: Furina, Bennett, Shenhe, Catalyst users holding TTDS
- Healers/Shielders: Layla, Diona, C4 Yanfei, Barbara, Dehya, Charlotte, Kokomi
- Off-field DMG: Fischl, Ororon, Xiangling, Rosaria, Yae Miko (but she will probably struggle with Energy issues)
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/80 (for additional CRIT Rate) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
