[Version 3.0] All New Hidden Achievements in Sumeru

All New Hidden Achievements

★ Part Eight: [Version 3.0] ★

Archon Quests

I've removed some text to avoid spoilers.

Exploration

Kara's Child

Interact with the new four leaf sigils.

Make sure they're in sight then press the interact button.

Explorer

Use Electro on these seeds or mushrooms in Sumeru when they're near fragmented, blue objects to reveal them.

When it does, you will get this achievement.

Aranyaka

Portal of Marvels

Perched Between Dream and Reality

The Rule of Three

Glittering Melody

A Once-Emerald Nursery

The End of Annihilation

These are all part of the main Aranyaka story, the primary world quest of Sumeru.

I've decided to avoid giving much detail on this to avoid spoilers.

To complete it is straightforward.

You just need to follow the quest markers.

I will cover more hidden parts of the Aranyaka though.

I've removed some text to avoid spoilers, but be warned that achievements past this point are likely to have spoilers.

You'll begin this storyline near Gandharva Ville.

The Jasmines Whisper, the Pomegranates Are Glad

Master Chef: Vanarana

...Let Me Fade With Memory

The Rain Seeps Into the Soil

These quests are unlocked after Part I of the Aranyaka.

They are long, but straightforward.

I've marked their starting locations.

As long as you follow the blue markers, you should be be able to get these achievements.

The Bitter Fruit of Dreams

This is part of "Agnihotra Sutra".

You'll get the Kusava during the first part of the quest.

Weather Control Activated

After completing "Varuna Gatha", play a song near the Varuna Contraption control and change the weather.

Music of the Forest

After completing "Varuna Gatha", "Vimana Agama", "Agnihotra Sutra" and the main Arayaka story, you'll get this achievement.

As the Lion Searched for Courage...

After completing Part I of Aranyaka, you can receive photos from the mailbox.

For this achievement, we'll deal with this one.

Head to the marked location above, and you'll find an Aranara house with some hilichurls around.

Defeat the hilichurls, then read the notes inside the house.

Go slightly east and you'll find the cave.

Rescue Arashakun from some slimes, follow him to defeat hilichurls, and finish up by talking to him for this achievement.

The Tale of the Forest

Each of the Aranyaka parts give you a story.

Find Aravinay near the Tree of Dreams.

Trade for all 5 of his blueprints, and you'll get this achievement.

When the Dreams Bloom

Time-gated: 1 day

You'll need to complete "Varuna Gatha" and the Aranara festival.

You can still work on it before then, but the final part will not trigger.

Gather 12 Vasmrti, then plant them in the field.

Wait for the next daily reset, and they'll grow.

Talk to Aranakula after.

Eternal Sustenance

Time-gated: 1 day

After the Viparyas grow in the achievement above, Sweet Flowers will bloom in the field in reality.

Switch to reality, then visit the field.

You'll get some text from Paimon.

Afterwards, find Varsha near Vanarana.

A Walnut Tree Amidst the Gardens

This is a hidden continuation of "Agnihotra Sutra".

After purifying the mushroom forest, you can find Aranakin and Aragaru near Chatrakam Cave.

Head to 1 to find Aranakin. Follow him and complete the first quest.

Enter the cave at 2. Defeat Azrul deeper in the cave to find Aragaru and his quest.

After that, go to 3. You'll find an old man labeled "???" in the Forest who leads you to inspect Mawtiyima.

Complete all of those, then head to 4.

Have a word with Khayyam and get your achievement!

Walking with Water and Wind

"Until Vana is Healed" is the continuation of "Vimana Agama."

You'll receive this after completing that quest, and perhaps the festival if you haven't already.

A Leisurely Journey

A Conversation with the Treasure Chest Owner

You will need to complete all Aranyaka segments for A Leisurely Journey.

Finding location #9 unlocks A Conversation with the Treasure Chest Owner.

You directly go to most of these locations by completing Aranyaka stories except for 10, 9, 4, and 2.

10 is located in the Chasm Underground.

Side Stories

Answer Time

This requires completing "Fertilizer... Salesperson?" in Inazuma.

After the Sumeru Archon Quest Act II, you can find a quest here from Niloofar.

It should be pretty simple, just follow the markers to meet our good friend Alrani!

Where Have You Gone, My Dream?

You can find Javi above.

After talking to him, dig near the tree that's across the stream from him.

Get a Sumeru Rose Seed.

You can buy it from Tubby in the Realm Depot or you can equip the Seed Dispensary and pick a Sumeru Rose.

Afterwards, go to Port Ormos to turn in the quest and get the achievement.

Secrets

Summit of Wisdom

Climb up the massive tree in Sumeru City.

The tallest branch has a Dusk Bird at the tip.

Reach him and you'll get this.

Swift as the Wind

At each of the 3 spots, there should be a seed or mushroom.

Use Electro on it, then activate the mushroom that appears.

The Lengthy Reunion

Start near the Statue of the Seven.

You'll see the Sumpter Beast traveling on its own.

Follow it until it stops.

This will take ~10 minutes.

Avoid hitting it or getting too far from it.

After it stops, you may need to defeat the Eremite nearby.

Open the Exquisite Chest that appears for the achievement.

If you want an (unedited) video of my successful attempt, here:

"I've Got It! I've Got It!"

This is a series of riddles that begin at the notice board by the Adventurer's Guild.

I've written a detailed guide here: (https://www.hoyolab.com/article/7212933)

Call of the Nameless City

This all takes place at Devantaka Mountain.

Begin at 1.

You'll see a challenge near the arm.

Complete it, and you'll end up at 2 with the "Guiding Parchment" quest item.

Go to 3 and complete another challenge for a parchment update.

Next, head to 4.

Fish until you receive another parchment update.

Complete through "Vimana Agama" until you activate the Ruin Golem.

Go through the newly opened ruins until you reach 4 torches.

Position yourself to look north into the tent and torches.

Light the torches up in the same order as the challenges, or according to the picture below.

Though to the Earth I May Return...

After completing Aranyaka, return to where you found the name of the unknown Aranara.

You'll find a mural there.

Approach it.

Song of Night and Dawn

After Aranyaka, you'll find 7 bonfires with Pyro Abyss Mages throughout Old Vanarana.

Douse them with Hydro.

You'll hear "A Strange Voice" every time.

Once you've extinguished all 7 fires, head to the Statue of the Seven and defeat the Abyss Lector that appeared.

Ever an Outcast in the Forest

This requires completing the main Aranyaka story.

Talk to Alphonso in Vimara Village after you're done.

First, choose Sudabeh, then choose Kavus.

Vamadha-Go-Round

Complete "Vimana Agama" to gain the song needed to turn Vamadha.

As far as I can tell, you only need to get these specific 2 chests for this achievement, but there are others.

The first chest is in the Devantaka mountains. It's a straight from the waypoint once you lower the water.

The Vamadha will be in the side of the wall.

The second chest is in one of the 5 Vamadha you'll find in the Labyrinth of "Until Vana is Healed."

This may require you to complete "Varuna Gatha".

The Varunastra starts up at 0:00 or 12:00 every day.

If you changed the weather, then make sure that it's set to "Circulate"

Make sure to be far enough from the Varunustra to see the runes, but close enough that it takes up a large part of the frame.

I used the menu camera, but the Kamera may work as well.

Now Let Time Resume

16 stone lock locations are marked above.

Release them with Pyro.

In the Name of Anfortas

There are 5 Damaged Ruin Guards throughout Sumeru.

You need 3 Lost Energy Blocks for each Ruin Guard, for a total of 15.

There are 19 that can be found, marked below.

Near each is a Ruin Scout hidden in a boulder.

Free the Ruin Scout with a Dendrogranum, follow the

m, then power up the ruin guard with the energy blocks.

Power up all 5 to get your achievement.

The Random Circumstances of a Rose's Blooming

Time-gated: 1 day

Go to Collei's House marked above..

Read her notebook.

Move the Sumeru Rose outside, then leave her a note.

Come back the next day and read her reply for your achievement.

Date of Departure

Head to the hotel at Port Ormos.

On the roof near these two merchants is a Common Chest.

Open it up, and you'll start a quest.

Complete it then head back after to find a note where they once were.

Pick it up.

Sumeru Monster Ecology Survey

This requires 2 hidden world quests.

The first is "Where are the Fierce Creatures?".

I've written a guide for it here: https://www.hoyolab.com/article/7222784

The second is "A Short Encounter With a Rare Bird".

Begin the quest by hunting Shroomboars near the Ruins of Dahri.

Make sure you don't miss!

They won't appear for a while if you let them run away.

After this, someone should appear.

You'll need to hunt Dusk Birds at 3 locations in Apam Woods.

Just like last time, don't miss or you'll need to wait a bit.

After completing both quests, you'll get the achievement.

Open Sesame!

There are 8 Extractors throughout Sumeru.

Deactivate them, then return to one at Yasna Monument to begin a hidden world quest.

When questioning Kasim, choose the options above.

Oh, Frabjous Day!

There are 9 buried Exquisite Chests hidden throughout Ashavan Realm.

Open all 9 to get a Treasure Map.

Head to 1, dig up a Precious Chest, and read the note left behind.

Head to 2 and dig up the second Precious Chest at the lily pad pond.

Please Play Safely

There are 12 locations where you can play with Aranara.

Each of them has a type of puzzle.

Arapratap: Remember the count of each color

Aradanish: Find an object from a description

Aragita: Memorize where each object is located

Arachanda: Interact with the objects in a specific order

For Meritorious Service

There are 64 lost Aranara throughout Sumeru.

They belong to 5 types.

I've marked them on the map above:

- Mischievous (Black)

- Reckless (Red)

- Material-Collecting (Blue)

- Confused (Orange)

- Music-Loving (Purple)

For Mischievous Aranara, use Electro on the Lens at the top of each tower then use the Lens.

After you've collected all 64, return to Araminali (the "treasure chest owner") and collect all of the chests.

Combat

When Autumn and Dew Meet

Avoid destroying the objects the Electro Regisvine drops!

Once 2 different types are near each other, they'll attract and collide.

Three Strikes

Activate the Jadeplume Terrorshroom using Electro. Avoid Pyro; it lowers the charge!

Every time it's activated it has a chance of charging up an energy attack, flailing, or charging at you.

Witness all 3 to get this achievement.

"Get Over Here!"

Defeat these green bird-fungi as they're flying to get this achievement.

"Han Always Shoots First..."

The Eremite Sword-Dancer has a rare skill where he taunts and tosses his sword between his hands.

Interrupt him during this and get this achievement.

Opportunistic Gain

Gather a bunch of Fungi together.

Eventually, their attacks will collide with another Fungi.

A good spot is the bottom of the Jadeplume Terrorshroom arena.

Try to get the water Fungi bubbles to hit a different element Fungi!

Miscellaneous

Nature's Infinite Wit

Unlock Sumeru's reputation quests and get them done for a couple of weeks, and you'll get this.

To unlock Sumeru reputation, you'll need to complete Act II of the Sumeru Archon Quest.

Commissions

I will be covering commission achievements separately!

They will take the longest time to confirm, and will probably make this guide far longer.
