This is Part 1 of my Sumeru Common Chest guide. There are a total of 346 Common Chests found in Sumeru. Due to the sheer amount of chests, the Sumeru Common Chest guide is broken up into the following:

Guide Notes / Suggestions
1. Much of Sumeru's exploration is locked behind quests, so I would highly suggest completing the Archon Quest Chapter III: Act I & II and the World Quest: Aranyaka Chain before searching for your last chests
2. Missable Chest(s): Co-op Chest (Common Chest 5), Destroy Training Dummies (Common Chest 16)
3. The guide below is divided into an Above Ground and Cavern (Below Ground) section to make it easier to locate the chests.
4. Use Ctrl-F if you are looking for specific types of chests. I will be using the following key terms to make this easier:

Avidya Forest - Above Ground
1 - 3
1. Follow the Seelie to its court. In the tunnel right next to the new teleport in the Chasm
2. Defeat the floating fungi
3. Use the Seed Mirror on top of the tower to detect the Nascent Whithering. Then go to the indicated location to destroy it.
4 - 5
4. Approach the indicated location and there will be a dialogue prompt. Defeat the treasure hoarders and dig the buried chest.
5. This chest requires Co-oping. You and a friend will need to jump on the mushrooms at the same time to spawn the chest.

6. Free the Seelie inside the Dendro boulder. Then follow the Seelie to its court.
7 - 10
7. Defeat the Eremites
8. Use Dendro to return the plant to its normal state. Then activate the Flower. This will spawn more Dendro Plants. Raise the newly spawned plants to reveal the chest.
9. Follow the Seelie to its court
10. Defeat the Treasure Hoarders
11 - 14
11. Win the Aranara's game
12. Shoot the Dendro Targets
13. Follow the Seelie to its court
14. Defeat the Fatui
15 - 17
15. Light the torches. Use the Denrograna and Tri-Yana Seed to reveal the hidden torch
16. Destroy the Training Dummies on both sides to spawn the chest in the middle
17. Complete the Time Trial Challenge
18 - 20
18. Shoot the Dendro Targets
19. Follow the Seelie to its Court

22. Use the Kusava or Lyre to play the Aranara Song to repair the totem.
23. Shoot the Dendro Targets
24. Complete the Nursery Puzzle

25. Use the Seed Mirror on top of the tower to detect the Nascent Whithering. Then go to the indicated location to destroy it.
26. Follow the Seelie to its Court
27. Complete the Time Trial Challenge
28 - 31
28. Light the Dendro Totem. You will need to stand in the center to unlock all the totems at once
29. Defeat the Hilichurl Camp
30. Complete the Nursery Puzzle

32. Shoot the Dendro Targets
33. Defeat the Hilichurls
34. Shoot the Dendro Target (Note: There is a bug where the target will reset when you relogin. If no chest spawns, then you have already completed this puzzle)

38. Defeat the Fungi. Then use Dendro to restore all the Dendro Plants to its normal state.
39. Light the Torches

44. Light the Torches. Use the Tri-Yana Seed to reveal the hidden Torch

61. Found in Cavern 1. Follow the Seelie to its court (Part of Agnihotra Sutra - Starry Night)
62. Mysterious Clipboard #5 This chest won't be available until after finding the picture in the mailbox in ****nara from Static Views World Quest. After obtaining the picture. Return to the location to dig out the chest.

63. Return all 3 Dendro Plants to their Normal State
64. Shoot Dendro Targets
65 - 66
65. Follow the Seelie to its court (Why are only certain Seelie's this color?)
66. Complete the Time Trial Challenge
