☷ Hello and good morning Captains! In this guide, we will be taking a look at the new 5⭐ weapon, Elysian Astra that was introduced in version 5.8.
☷ We will analyze the weapon’s skill in further detail and find out the comparison of this Elysian Astra and other similar cross weapons. For the sake of convenience, Elysian Astra will be called Astra in this guide.

『 SKILL DETAILS & ANALYSIS 』
Active Skill - Primary Color
☷ Analysis: Inflict 6 Bleed Trauma to nearby enemies and continue to cause Physical DMG for 18 seconds.
☷ Griseo's equip bonus: Her Ultimate Evasion skill will activate, which causes Global Time Fracture for 2 seconds, and grants Prismatic Bubble which will negate incoming damage.

Passive Skill - Free Dyeing
☷ Analysis: Pretty straightforward skill where it unconditionally increases the wielder's Combo ATK and Ultimate's Total DMG. In addition, the team's Physical DMG is also increased without any time limit.
☷ The only Cross-wielder that can bleed enemies are Griseo, Luna Kindred, and Twilight Paladin. However, only Griseo can use Combo ATK! In other words, Luna and Twilight can't receive the Combo ATK bonus.

▸ Damage Comparison:
☷ Zither's Lament has a higher damage output by a very tiny percentage compared to Elysian Astra. But it's not that surprising because Zither's Lament provides 30% Physical DMG for the team, while Elysian Astra only 15% Physical DMG.
☷ In fact, all 5-star crosses above have little differences between each other so you can use any of them as a replacement for Elysian Astra except for Blood Embrace. This one has low stat in addition to even ordinary skills, that even Silver Reaper (a forgeable weapon) is better.

☷ The best wielder for Elysian Astra would be Griseo as it can greatly improve her Physical output capability and bring decent Physical Support to the team. When Griseo equips it, activating the weapon active can trigger her Ultimate Evasion Skill (2s Global Time Fracture & Prismatic Bubble), which can indirectly activate other teammates' QTE.
『 CONCLUSION 』
☷ Elysian Astra is a new Cross that appeared in version 5.8. Obviously, it is suitable for Griseo's Starry Impression battlesuit, which can help inflict Bleed Trauma and increase the whole team's Physical DMG. After triggering the weapon active, Astra will cause Bleed Trauma to the enemy within AoE, and continue dealing Physical DMG to them.
☷ Should you pull for Elysian Astra? Not really. As you can see in the chart above, the team can still do the same damage even with Zither's Lament and 11th Sacred Relic. Yes, sure, Astra can make the rotation more smoothly because the weapon active will trigger Global Time Fracture, but I would not sacrifice my xtals just for that if I'm not in the competitive side and still a beginner. That is unless you want the PRI-ARM version of this weapon. The PRI-ARM is worth it, so you should pull for it if you want the PRI-ARM.
