So from Kazuha's depressing past and his daring escape for his life to "Hey y'all! If you got any dilemmas just tell 'em all ta me! I'll help ya out!"
I was totally looking forward to seeing Xinyan's wretched past and how she grew to overcome adversity. Instead she's always been on top of it! Even when her own parents suck!
O you had to go and do it again didn't you MiHoYo. I'm still waiting on Xinyan's rock concert and now you made me hope to hear Felecia sing one day too!
If only the internet could be solved this way too. But people these days can even get mad at you for not being mad back at them for being mad at you. 
Somebody put this on a motivational poster. We could all do with a reminder of this sometimes. Actually I'd like to think Genshin itself is exactly this. After all it did release in 2020 (people still believe the disinformation even now) and after yet another unreasonable controversy. The fact of its unrivaled success is art overcoming concessions and cowardice for sure!
Wow poor Little Lulu's going to have to deal with this dope on her own soon. Little Meng's heading off towards manhood! And it was really cute to finally hear their voices. I pictured them a little differently (note to self check out other versions) but they were fine.
Timelinewise this means this is taking place after Zhongli's second quest. Also Kun Jun! Nice to hear about him again. And hmmmm so Azhdaha was able to pass on his power to see through rocks huh? Interesting. 
And this dialogue option means this is taking place after Shenhe's quest when we meet Yun Jin. It's cool they're referencing so many other events and quests with this one. It's almost like a shoutout to this game's legacy so far. Timely since we're only about 2 months from Anniversary 2.
She is gorgeous! Ok MiHoYo when do we get a skin of Xinyan with her hair down? I also saw one with her in a sleek black dress so maybe you could get that in for the anniversary. (and her rock concert dagnabit!

Yeah this time I'm going in reverse. So before was fun times. Now's the lore breakdown haha.
Ok so between the Fischl/Mona headers and now Paimon explaining Albedo to Mona who studies with him and Kazuha who met him during Irodori (I guess she was introducing him to Xinyan only?) I'm just going to say MiHoYo got a little lazy and decided they'd just create interactions on the fly. I mean since it isn't really that important anyway and it has been a pretty long time but it still feels a little jarring that Kazuha wouldn't be more familiar with Venti and why Paimon is here talking about Albedo like most of the people around haven't already met him and even gone on tons of adventures with him. This note itself is a call back to last year. (I mean I guess Kazuha's response could be seen as him remembering him from Irodori but it's so emotionless you'd think he only heard about him in passing.)
The stuff happening with Fischl speaks to her insecurities. I mean we know she knows she's just a chuni. But if MiHoYo wants to break the mold then what if a self-admitted chuni turns out to actually be larger than life after all? Hence my theory and if I'm right here MiHoYo wants to play us hard.
The set up here is obvious. We went through Kazuha's life story. Fischl took off right after that after we discussed everybody might be getting one. In her profile you'll find out that she's been chuni for a while and while her parents were supportive at first they thought it was a phase and she'd grow out of it. I mean she will just because of epic reasons much later on. Anyway that's likely what she figures we'd see in her mirage and if you keep digging into her profile you can see she is not willing to accept that reality. Her real name is redacted in her own profile lol
So anyway we're likely to see the "Prinzessin" in her mirage instead and it'll play out like she's running from the truth while little pieces of dialogue - like maybe her Echoing Conch - will reveal her insecurities and that she "knows" she's not actually Fischl.
But here's the kicker: Fischl does need to accept that she's the human Amy. Going off of my theory the idea is that her human life is like a second chance for her. The Abyss want her to become the Night Mother Amy again and what we'll be seeing in her mirage are memories of that part of her life which current Amy fantasizes about because maybe a part of her still remembers who she used to be. So to free herself from her past especially once it becomes a tool of the Abyss she needed this experience to start accepting the current her.
That probably sounded more confusing than it needed to. Basically in the distant past she was the "Night Mother" but she was defeated and diminished into a human. The Abyss are looking for her because they believe the Night Mother can restart the world which is part of their plan against Celestia. But as we know the Abyss has stupid plans so Fischl needs to let go of that past and move on with her life. Coincidentally this ends up playing out like a chuni growing out of that phase.
After all of it is done we should see a much healthier and happier Amy and based on the other part of my theory it still won't affect her playstyle but Oz won't be so talkative probably.
Also I had said Kazuha and Xinyan felt like fillers because of how the story was going. While it is still definitely filler for their own personal growth I think it's also to help Fischl. With Kazuha we saw a person dealing with a regretful past right? Fischl's got that but hasn't been honest enough with herself to confront it. This is why she ran off today. With Xinyan we see that even if you're different from everybody else you need to be true to yourself and live your life. Both of these perspectives will help Fischl accept being Amy. (And then we'll get Mona's where it's like wow she wasn't wrong about being a "prinzessin" or whatever lol)
Also I'm glad I called the Fatui thing. The conches are telling their whole backstory of how they got here and that machine is being used by Alice to create all these Domains to help these guys grow. If you guys haven't yet these guys are wrong about saying the Fatui are missing. If you haven't yet you can find them scattered around the islands. I already saw cappy cap guy and there was a Mirror Mage in the early part of my video.
Right I also should say that even though it was filler-tastic even Kazuha's Domain could play into his growth leading to the Scara stuff. He was easy going most of his life. His dad basically set him up to become a wanderer. But now even though he's still going to wander he's doing so with a purpose and that kind of mindset should lend itself when he has to confront Scara with us. So in a very small way it did still have to do with him and his future.
Tomorrow's the big one! Let's see what the Prinzessin's got for us!
