Introduction

Starry Impression (SI) is the first Griseo's battlesuit we're getting.

She's a PSY type Physical Support.

SI is released with a signature weapon called Elysian Astra: Heart's Color that strengthen her kit and provide strong tools.

Base Stats Lv. 65

The base ATK of that cross is pretty low if we look at the average numbers of the other PRI weapons.

However here it's not much of an issue since the SI is a Support Valkyrie and the ATK has less value than a main Damage Dealer.

We can note that the CRT stats is kind of high though, even if it's not that important.

Weapon Active

The weapon active in itself is simple: the cross is deployed and deals a decent amount of damage on landing, then every 1.5s for 18s there's a hit.

The cross also inflicts Bleed Trauma.

The important information here concerns the bonus when SI equips the cross.

Indeed, on QTE entry she will automatically cast the weapon active (if not on cooldown) and trigger the Ultimate Evasion Skill.

It's very strong for stable and great rotations.

Very efficient.

Passive 1

Only two small sentences, yet it doesn't mean the effects are underwhelming.

The self bonuses are strong but won't really matter before SI reach SSS rank.

As for the team bonus, it's an unconditional great buff: 20% Physical DMG for the entire team without requiring any activation is nice.

It's best on SI but we can imagine Celestial Hymn (CH) or Starlit Astrologos (SA) to use that effect.

Passive 2

The 8% Bonus Physical DMG is another great supporting tool for the wielder.

And once again, it could be used on CH or SA.

The rest of the passive concerns self damage while focusing on Bleeding interaction, something made for SI.

At SSS rank, the battlesuit has great synergies with that weapon to deal more self damage.

Alternative weapons

Starry Impression's signature cross Elysian Astra: Heart's Color is her best option among the crosses.

However we can still consider two other options if the signature is lacking.

Hekate's Sombre PRI

Thanks to that Passive, SI could use the cross in order to provide 10% bonus Physical DMG.

That cross also gives access to some self damage with 30% self Total DMG and 403 ATK if the PRI is maxed.

We can also mention the weapon active that deals a lot of hit: excellent for hit counts strategies (such as SSS Jizo transition).

Since the bonus Physical DMG on enemies is a fixed multiplier, do note that a Lv. 50 Hekate's Sombre would do the same supporting job.

Zither's Lament

This cross is totally focused on support utility.

The fact the bonuses only apply on Ultimate and Burst mode is quite restrictive though.

Since it's not a PRI it has only one passive and less ATK which result in a loss of self damage, which is not really an issue for a support Valkyrie even if SSS rank SI is a decent source of damage for the team.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, the signature cross is simply better than the other options for Starry Impression.

The weapon provides everything that Griseo may want: great supporting tools for the team, nice Bleeding and interesting self damage (emphasized once she reaches SSS rank).

It's in theory doable to use that cross on CH and SA since they are also Physical Supports and cross wielders.

However, if we have Elysian Astra: Heart's Color there are really no benefits to simply not use Starry Impression.

We can note that Hekate's Sombre and Zither's Lament can be used on Griseo to replace her signature cross but they are by no means better.

Not to mention that Elysian Astra: Heart's Color's weapon active auto-cast and the Ultimate Evasion Skill trigger from Starry Impression QTE are extremely powerful tools.
