[Elysian Realm Beta Guide v5.8 - Fervent Tempo Δ]

Hi! It's time for another old Valkyrie to enter the Elysian Realm mode: Fervent Tempo Δ (FTD) joins the party.
She can clear up to Finality (max difficulty) so let's see how to do it~!

Mode adjustments
Like any Valkyrie, FTD is adjusted to fit the game mode needs:
> Valkyrie stats and skills level are adjusted to Lvl. 80 equivalent.
> In Fervent Mode, Basic and Charged ATKs inflict 1 Bleed Trauma, while Ultimate inflicts 12 Bleed Trauma.
> Entering battle or Fervent Mode generates a shield that absorbs DMG equal to 50% of the Valkyrie's Max HP for 10s. Regenerating shield restarts status and duration. While the shield is up, reduce the Total DMG taken by 30%. Crit Rate increases 50% during which Ultimate Evasion no longer grants a force field.
> When Pink or Blue Energy increases, the other energy increases the same amount.
> In normal mode, the Valkyrie's Basic ATK begin from the fourth hit.
> The Augment Core is activated upon entering battle.
> Ultimate's last hit deals an additional 600% ATK of Physical DMG.
> Weapon Active grants Iron Body for 1s.
We'll go in depth later on but as we can see she has a lot of changes. it's beneficial considering FTD is the kind of Valkyrie that needs a team and a specific setup to function properly.
She's also strong against a single target and tend to struggle against multiple enemies.
Overall, the adjustments are great but it's not enough and that's why we'll look at the Signets of Ego next~!

Signets of Ego

Blessing of Fervor: In Fervent mode, surrounding enemies take 25% more Physical DMG; Fervent Juice consume 50% fast (cannot stack).
Blessing of Mixing: Charged ATK and Ultimate draw in enemies within a large radius and increase their Total DMG taken by 40% for 8s. Triggering it again resets the duration.
Blessing of Thorny Dreams: Physical DMG from Basic ATKs (including Charged ATKs) increase by 30% and restore 1 SP on hit. At 150 SP, Ultimate cost increases by 50 SP. Total DMG dealt by Ultimate increases by 30%.
Blessing of Solitude: In fervent mode, Basic ATKs add 30% ATK of Physical DMG. The last hit of Ultimate adds 300% ATK of Physical DMG.
Blessing of Silence: Ultimate CD is reduced by 30% and Total DMG dealt is increased by 400% . Weapon Active CD is reduced by 2s each time Ultimate deals DMG. Strike Back EX is usable during the entirety of Fortress Mode.
FTD always relied on maxing both her gauges and on triggering Strike Back EX.
That's why it seems coherent to pick Blessing of Silence as first choice in order to get an easier access to Ultimate and Weapon active in order to reliably trigger Strike Back EX.
Also the massive Total DMG boost by the Ultimate is appreciated.
However, to properly function the Valkyrie would need more Ego buffs, to be more accurate she needs Blessing of Mixing and Blessing of Thorny Dreams.
With these three signets of Ego the Valkyrie feels comfortable to play.
The Blessing of Mixing provides a great quality of life addition: gathering the targets constantly while increasing the Total DMG they take.
Meanwhile the Blessing of Thorny Dreams is essential to maintain a satisfying amount of SP, actually with this signet FTD never lacks SP and gets a nice boost of damage.
As for which buff to pick first:
- Mixing is preferred if we're facing a lack of gathering.
- Thorny Dreams can be the option if we already have gathering from support(s) and ELF.
The Blessings of Fervor and of Solitude are not mandatory: the former isn't really interesting while the later can be picked at some point of the game but can easily be ignored.

Starting build
For the gear it's pretty simple, like in Memorial Arena or Abyss the ElysiaTB combination is a great one in Elysian Realm too (and it's farmable!).
For the M slot it's opened for a lot of choices, Marco Polo can efficiently work and is a budget option.
Still in the farmable option, MichelangeloTB is nice too.
Dickens and Dante are also solid, in the end the gear recommendation is similar to the usual modes except Columbus that works for single target.
The main difference is that the damage outputs between premium gear and budget one is less noticeable in Elysian Realm.
Concerning the Supports Valkyries, it's straightforward.
We usually pick a gathering tool and a damage buff one.
For Physical teams Starlit Astrologos (SA) is an excellent support to provide a gather since she also has nice buffs.
Blood Rose (BR) remains a strong option for any kind of team due to her great Total DMG buff even if we don't have particular synergies with the loss of HP. We need to be careful though since we can end up with low HP and die through a random attack.

Do note that Snowy Sniper (SS) can be picked instead of SA for the last boss stages.
About the items it's pretty opened and will depend on the signets path.

However the Crystal Rose remains a solid choice to ensure at least a second Signet of Ego.
The sooner we get it the better it is.

The Rainbow of Abstinence, Veil of Tears or Burden are also great option but it tends to suppress the safety of having at least another Portal of Ego and FTD struggles with only one Ego buff.
Concerning the support items, it's more interesting to match with the one above since it provides one extra level when choosing a corresponding signet.

Signets and Items Choices
As mentioned previously FTD relies on the Ultimate cast paired with the Weapon Active to trigger Strike Back EX and enter in Fervent mode.
That's why any kind of signets that has an Ultimate or a Weapon Active synergy will work on her.
More extensively any signets that provides Total DMG, Physical DMG, Physical Breach and Total or Physical DMG taken on enemies will work.
That's why we mentioned earlier the items corresponding to the signets of Stars, Discipline and Deliverance.
A lot of signets can fit FTD but these are the strongest to provide a consistent source of damage that the Valkyrie will reliably trigger.

Signets of Stars

These two Normal Signets are essential:
Yellow & Warm: Using an Ultimate taints enemies nearby with yellow paint for 8s and makes them take 30% bonus Total DMG. Triggering it again resets the duration.
Red & Hot: Using a weapon active taints enemies nearby with red paint for 8s and makes them take 25% bonus Physical and Elemental DMG (cannot stack). Triggering it again resets the duration.
The rest of the buffs are great additions, yet the end goal is to reach the Second Core of Stars:
Faded Stars: When tainted enemies are tainted by another color, Blending is triggered, dealing 300 ATK of Adaptive DMG to enemies within 15m and tainting enemies purple, green, or orange based on the Enhanced Signet; CD: 1s. Total DMG increases by 15% for each layer of taint, plus an additional 15% for enemies of the countering type.
And then the Enhanced Signets:
Petals in the Wind: When red and blue taint triggers Blending, enemies within 8m are dealt 1200%/500% ATK of Adaptive DMG; CD: 3s. Also taints yourself in purple for 15s, increasing the effect of red, yellow, and blue taint by 40%. Triggering it again resets the duration.
Fallen Leaves: When yellow and blue taint triggers Blending along with an AoE ATK dealing 800% ATK of Adaptive DMG; CD: 3s. Also taints yourself green for 15s, increasing Total DMG by 20% for each taint in Faded Stars. Triggering it again resets the duration.
A Flame Extinguished: When red and yellow taint triggers Blending you become tainted orange for 15s, triggering Time Fracture for 2.5s and reducing enemy Physical Defense by 40% and Elemental Resist by 15% for 10s; CD: 7s. Triggering it again resets the duration.
The latter is the most important one here, this multiplier is not common from Signets and it directly impact the damage that enemies receive.
We have to mention that Petals in the Wind is quite strong but it requires to pick the blue taint from the Blue & Cold normal Signet:
Blue & Cold: Triggering an Ultimate Evasion Skill taints enemies nearby with blue paint for 8s and reduces their Total DMG and Move Speed by 30%. Triggering it again resets the duration.

Signets of Discipline

The goal is to reach the Second Core of Discipline:
You Shall Receive Disciplines' Blessing: Normal Signet of Discipline grants Exhortation 100% increase per second. When Exhortation exceeds 150, You Shall Know Your Sins will trigger every 5s around the Valkyrie, dealing 1400% ATK of Adaptive DMG. The Valkyrie deals 10% more Total DMG for each enemy hit, for a total of 70%, for 10s.
To connect into the Enhanced Signets:
You Shall punish Evil: Enemies struck by You Shall Know Your Sins two or more times take 40% more Total DMG. 5 SP is restored when these enemies are hit by You Shall Know Your Sins.
You Shall Follow Good: You Shall Know Your Sins' Total DMG dealt increases by 40% and Physical and Elemental Breach is increased by 0.25% of Exhortation for 6s upon hitting an enemy. Triggering it again resets the duration.
You Shall Answer Prayers: Triggering You Shall Know Your Sins causes the Valkyrie to enter Penance for 8s.. In Penance, the Valkyrie takes 30% less Total DMG and deals 40% more Physical and Elemental DMG to enemies. Valkyrie deal 800% ATK of Adaptive DMG to attacking enemies when hit; CD: 5s. Triggering it again resets the duration.
In order to maximize the value of these signets, we need to pick Normal Signets to strengthen the Core and Enhanced Signet:
First, No Betrayal: Exhortation increases by 5 per second and caps at 200. Basic ATK's Total DMG increases by 0.3% of Exhortation. Triggering Ultimate Evasion Skill reduces 50% Exhortation.
Third, No Brutality: Exhortation increases by 5 per second and caps at 200. Character has bonus SP regen per second equal to 1% of Exhortation. Reaching 160 combo hits reduces 50% Exhortation.
Fourth, No Insolence: Exhortation increases by 5 per second and caps at 200. Ultimate's Physical DMG and Elemental DMG increase by 0.3% of Exhortation. Using weapon skills reduces 50% Exhortation.
Fifth, No Falsehood: Valkyries start with 70 bonus Exhortation. Whenever Exhortation is reduced, enemies take 25% bonus Total DMG for 5s. Can be refreshed.

Signets of Deliverance

These are the Normal Signets we want (SP is not needed if we already have Blessing of Thorny Dreams):
Goblet of the Giver: Ultimate boosts Total DMG by 35% for 5s.
Pendant of the Watcher: Ultimate boosts Physical DMG by 30% for 5s.
Mask of the Predator: Ultimate boosts Physical Breach by 25% for 5s.
Rochet of the Pilgrim: Ultimate restores 3 SP per second for 5s.
When it comes to the Core, the First one is chosen:
Blade of the Deliverer: Ultimate triggers Final Battle status during which all buffs provided by Normal Signets of Deliverance increase by 50% for 5s.
As for the Enhanced Signets the priority is for Crusade of the Deliverer:
Crusade of the Deliverer: After 3s into Final Battle, all buffs provided by Normal Signets of Deliverance increase by 90% instead of 50%.
Echo of the Deliverer: Duration of Final Battle and all buffs provided by Normal Signets of Deliverance are extended to 8s.

Mid-Late Item option
The items listed in the Starting section are still relevant later, however, another great Support Items is the Falling in Past Light:

Even if we don't prioritize to pick the Signets of Helix, that item has a extremely good synergy with FTD gameplay in Elysian Realm.
Indeed, the item gains 120 Charge through Weapon Active on a 6 second CD.
In other words, every time we use the Weapon Active with Ultimate to trigger Strike Back EX the item is charging.

Reference
To illustrate how to play FTD in Elysian Realm, here's a record of the different bosses during a Finality (24200) clear.

Conclusion
Fervent Tempo Δ is a nice Valkyrie for that game mode.
In Finality, FTD may not be the fastest to clear or the most consistent (she relies on three Ego Signets to be become very strong), yet it's a solid Valkyrie that can manage to clear with ease the weekly max reward attempt.
Another great aspect regarding her concerns the gear.
As usual the battlesuit is free-to-play friendly since she doesn't require gacha gear to function, and even perform competitively.
The are no exceptions in Elysian Realm: FTD can equip a lot of different stigmata while the farmable ElysiaTB MarcoPoloM is one of the best
Here were mentioned the optimized combinations in order to clear the max difficulty but aside from the Ego Signets (that really matters in Finality), FTD is quite flexible for the rest of the Signets.
At the end of the day, we can be creative~!
