Hi captains, I don't feel good..., but I would still like to talk a bit about the new Valkyria Kira [Sugary Starburst].
She is a new Ice MECH-type, A-Rank, SP battlesuit.
Her role will be that of an Ice Sub-DPS support.
She is a pistol user and provides a lot of benefits to the team, like freeze, SP recovery and various DMG buffs.
She is also able to inflict direct HP loss, which will be important for some newly added Bosses and can cast QTE while being off-field.
Beginner
What about [Sugary Starburst] for beginners? She is a good Valk, but I don't recommend aiming for her.
Her flaws are the restriction to ice teams and the SP charge for the team is locked at high rank (SS) so it involves more farming for newbies. On top of that her gear is restricted only for her to use to full extent.
I recommend as always to start to invest in Pardofelis, even if for meta players now she is the inferior choice, but to the newcomers, she is still a more versatile Valkyrie and very useful for those who begin to play.
Thanks to her Total Damage Bonuses and SP charge for the team, also already unlocked at rank A.
You can use Pardofelis on any type of team and she is not limited to only the ice team. 
Another Valkyria that I recommend a lot is Prometheus and then Griseo to cover the physical stages. 
PS. Avoid spending crystals at the moment, at 6.8 there will be a big surprise.
If you want to spend crystals the only gacha I can recommend at the moment is Herrscher of Truth, as she is the best elemental support. 
Mid/high level captain
Should you invest in [Sugary Starburst] gear?
Depends on which Valks you already completed.
Did you miss Pardofelis? That's a big opportunity to complete your ice team.
Kira will replace all Pardofelis stages, and she also has new bosses where you need her direct HP loss mechanics.
On the other hand, if you already have Pardofelis full gear, you can think about skipping Kira and saving some crystals, for future patches.
Pardofelis still a very good Valkyria. 
But about the problem with these new bosses? 
Nothing to worry about, just farm for Kira's fragment and use her with Pardofelis' set.
Bastet TM alongside Newt or Adler B is the best other option to replace the Kira set.
As a weapon, any Pri-Arm can be good, but I recommend the Echo of Paradise to also provide some team buffs.
So if you plan to save some crystals you can do it without any worries. 
Nirvana players
[Sugary Starburst] (SS+) full gear is mandatory to maintain a high score.
BUT probably for EU players, you won't have any risk of going below Nirvana, the problem is only the 2 new Bosses... Even if Kira with Bastet could manage to stay in the top 10. (If you are not too unlucky to have many top players in the same group).
BUT if you choose to avoid Kira set, you can completely forget about staying in Myriad, even during old ice weather, without her your top 100 isn't guaranteed anymore.
